Five Elements Hostel

The dorms were ok, I would have appreciated curtains for the beds and also you don’t have a locker, they have a box with a chain and you need to buy or bring your own padlock ????. And the location feels so insecure but it’s in front of the train station so that’s good. The staff is really nice. But it’s worth it for 20€ I wouldn’t recommend it for solo travelers

NOOOOOO. if you’re a solo traveller, especially a female, but honestly anyone, pleaseeeee don’t stay here. the place is nice & it is clean don’t get me wrong, but I promise you that you will not feel safe. I stayed one night and immediately got on a train the next day to go to Heidelberg. go to Frankfurt, just don’t stay in the red light district pleaseee

The area isn't great but the hostel is a great place to be. Made great friends and the common area is very welcoming. I didn't have the breakfast as it was a bit expensive but they offer free tea and coffee which is fab. If you are in Frankfurt I definitely recommend!!!

We stayed for two nights (in a room for two). For the price, I think it's an excellent option. The location is great, it is really close to the train station and to other points of interest. The rooms were clean... but during the night I felt something walking on my body :/ and the morning after I had bites and it made me itch. The atmosphere is super friendly, the staff is also really nice (as a latina, it was super cool listening reggaeton there hahaha). They have a pool table and a mini soccer in the basement, that's a great option to hang with friends and/or to meet people.

Lovely staff, they hosted a quiz night which was fun to participate in. Super close to the train station and easy to find. Lots of restaurants nearby and bars to for some drinks. The only downside was the manual buzzing into the building by reception instead of using your key card.
