Five Elements Hostel

One of the most interesting hostels I’ve ever been in. The common eating space has a floor to ceiling glass window that faces the street full of druggies. Which was (to me personally) a very interesting watch for every time you have a meal. If you’re a solo female traveller, it might not be the safest hostel but I was constantly with people I met in the hostel so I felt safe. The druggies outside won’t engage if you don’t make eye contact so that’s fine. Kitchen was small but very very homey. They had a poo

Average hostel but it is cheap enough that you can't complain! The location really is the red light district and you have to make your bed upon arrival but it was fine enough. :-)

Nice place. The other wombar hostel had a nicer terass but i thought rhis one was better!

Técnicamente excelente ubicación porque está cerca de la estación central de trenes, pero la zona alrededor no es la más bonita. Cumple la función para descansar y conocer a otros viajeros :)

Just one toilet for the complete floor.

location is not as dangerous as some comments make it out to be, it is just quite gross but if you just take bolts/ubers late at night it is fine and quite convenient

Lovely hostel, grear staff and cleanliness. The area was a bit rougher than I was expecting, even knowing it was a red light district, but the hostel felt quite seperate from that, and the central station was close enough that I could easily get to sight seeing.

Yes, it’s in the Red Light District, but if you keep your street smarts and don’t interact with the various characters that are around the building, you’ll be fine. I joined a beer tasting event the night before I checked in, but during my only night stay, there were no events going on. The social scene will be what you make of it. Convenient location for the train station.
