Pros: Decent location close to a train station. Multiple budget food options nearby. The reception staff was very responsive and accommodating to requests. Clean bed and sheets. Did not try the hostel food, but was affordable with some discount for hostel residents. Does the basics well Cons: Kitchen was not clean, and most appliances were old and not in good shape. The most annoying part was the shower, which kept shutting in less than 10 seconds and needed to be restarted continuously.

I don’t know how this place is ranked so highly. The place is far from the center, it wasn’t clean especially the kitchen which stinks. The bathroom was very old. But the main issue is the lack of atmosphere. The reception is also a public cafe and live music venue. I didn’t meet a single person from the hostel in the cafe. Everyone were just locals drinking coffee.

Very well located hostel, cousy and easy, totally recommend. The only thing is that if you go in the summer, the street that is located in is very busy and you’d need to open the window, so have that in mind.

Hostel sombre et sale. Malgré un personnel agréable l’hostel ne donne pas envie d’y rester. Les douches et les WC étaient sales, de même pour la cuisine commune. Les chambres n’étaient pas accueillantes avec du mobilier vieux et défectueux. En effet, les casiers étaient cassés et ne fermaient pas. Je ne recommande pas cet hostel.

Good price for a clean hostel with a nice kitchen

Clean hostel that’s great for a short term stay. Had no issues with the room or bathrooms like I said very clean. It was only me and one other person in my room so not much socializing happening but it isn’t a far walk from the city so it was fine. Biggest issue was staff. I felt like none of them wanted to be there or at least not help anyone. I speak English, Italian, and Spanish but don’t know German. They seemed very irritated with the fact I didn’t speak German and chose to use English for ease
