Weltempfänger Hostel

Auberge très chaleureuse, avec une ambiance bienveillante. Le bar était super sympa et peu cher. Le quartier est plutôt proche du centre et très agréable avec des restaurants, bars et jolies rues piétonnes.

Great location, nice looking entrance with the cafe. But never have been 'welcomed' like this ever before. The first thing the lady behind the desk said after we said 'hello' was 'ID Please'. Maybe she just had a bad day, but it made us feel very uncomfortable and changed the vibe and idea of the hostel. Rooms are okay! We had the attic 2 person cute room. Common kitchen area was very dirty. We just bought a sandwich and wanted to have breakfest, but all of the tables were dirty and smelly.

Great place, stayed for night. Friendly Staff, clean rooms and facilities -- excellent location too.

Unsure on the stay, but requested for a refund since accidentally booked for wrong Thursday. Wrote email on same day (and 7 days prior to stay) with no response and was charged the total of stay. Never had this happened before and recognized it’s my fault too but wish that the place could have at least write an email to address concern. This is ordinary customer service that is lacking. Will be careful on booking from here on out.

Overall it was a good stay. It was pretty clean and the beds were decent. The room was really hot though but we asked staff for a fan and they gave us one which was nice. Location was ok, not too close to the main part of the city however the area it was in was great with heaps of food and drink places. Only thing we didn’t like was the showers, they turned off automatically and you had to press the button every 5 seconds.

Staff werent very helpful. Struggled to use their laundry facilities. location was great though
