Friendly, knowledgeable staff with excellent English. Lovely neighbourhood with lots of choice of cafes, restaurants, shops, laundrette etc. Literally 10meters from the metro entrance and 5 min walk to tram stop so brilliant access to the rest of the city.
Kitchen could do with a kettle.

Alles in Ordnung! Mir hat alles gefallen. Sehr nett die Leute, der Eigentümer und gutes Frühstück! Wenn ich nach Köln gehen werde, werde ich dort bleiben. Es liegt ein bisschen entfernt von der Stadt und es ist fast eine Stünde ins Zentrum mit der UBahn fahren aber es gibt alles in der Naehe wie ein Aldi, zum Beispiel. Ich empfehle es!

The room was larger than I expected. Staffs were kind and treated me so good even though they were confused with a problem that the difference between the price that they offered and Booking.com offered.
The price that Booking.com offered was wrong, and I had to pay extra 21euros. I was confused and the hostel staff, too. I'm not sure who's fault was that, but anyway Booking.com system and the staff have better to communicate well to recover this problem. Also the address doesn't show exact point of the hostel, so I hope this problem also will be recovered.
Guests have to call to the hostel to find it because it's not looks like "hostel", just an apartment.

Die Lage der Unterkunft war hervorragend - U-Bahn 5 Meter entfernt und Einkaufsmöglichkeit in der Nähe.
Separater Ein-/ Ausgang auch für nach 0.00 Uhr war von Vorteil.
Kleiderschrank hat gefehlt, auch Kleiderbügel waren zu wenig. Da das Zimmer klein war, war auch die Abstellmöglichkeit für Kofferinhalt gering.

Die Lage des Hostels war sehr gut (direkt an der Ubahn).
Das Zimmer war sauber und klein.
Aus dem Bad kam ein komischer Geruch.
Es war eher hellhörig.
Den Schlüssel ins Schloss zu stecken war ein Krampf (Zimmer 11), ich hatte jedes mal Angst den Schlüssel abzubrechen.
Ich finde für den Preis hätte mehr als nur ein Fuß Handtuch vorhanden sein müssen.
Das Frühstück war von der Auswahl okay. Leider waren als ich frühstücken wollte überall Fliegen am Buffet.

Das Frühstück war sehr einfach gehalten,
jedoch hat mich die Qualität überzeugt.
Bioprodukte und vegane Wurst und Brotaufstriche
wurden angeboten.
Das Brot schmeckte hervorragend
Es war kein Aufzug vorhanden. Das Kisten roch unangenehm. Preis-Leistung ist mit 88,20 Euro
für ein Haus dieser Kategorie vollkommen überteuert.

I arrived late, and the staff helped me to self-access into my room, even if it was after check-in hours.
I really appreciate it. And the effort of calling me in advance to check everything was alright.

La ubicación
El váter debería cambiarse porque no creo que se pueda limpiar la suciedad del fondo (habitación 11); no es nada agradable. Sábanas agujereadas.

La cocina es muy completo y limpia. Además, me gustó el tamaño de la habitación de 4 camas mixta. La ducha funciona bien (agua caliente) y también el Wifi.
No me gustó el olor que constantemente tiene el baño pues es muy desagradable independiente de esto siempre se vio aparentemente limpio.
No me gustó que la entrada principal cerrará antes de media noche.
Que el hostal no generará instancias para socializar.

Auberge très chaleureuse, avec une ambiance bienveillante. Le bar était super sympa et peu cher. Le quartier est plutôt proche du centre et très agréable avec des restaurants, bars et jolies rues piétonnes.

El hostel está bastante limpio y se nota que ha tenido una reforma reciente. Está anexo a una cafetería. Tiene cocina completa y tiene un baño y dos duchas por los menos en la primera planta para 10 personas, son algo estrechas pero las duchas son modernas funcionan como las de polideportivo mediante pulsador. La habitación de 6 está bien las literas son nuevas, a destacar que tenía un pequeño lavabo para limpiarse los dientes o coger agua,y el acceso es muy seguro.
El sitio en sí está muy bien, la calle principal Venloer str. es una calle por completo de terraceo en el distrito de Ehrenfeld. El inconveniente es que está algo lejos de la estación central de colonia y hay que coger 2 metros que te dejan delante del hostel.

The staff are super friendly and kind. They are helpful and responsive. The place is very clean for a hostel. They allowed us to leave our bags for a while after checkout so we could explore the city.

Great location, nice looking entrance with the cafe. But never have been 'welcomed' like this ever before. The first thing the lady behind the desk said after we said 'hello' was 'ID Please'. Maybe she just had a bad day, but it made us feel very uncomfortable and changed the vibe and idea of the hostel. Rooms are okay! We had the attic 2 person cute room. Common kitchen area was very dirty. We just bought a sandwich and wanted to have breakfest, but all of the tables were dirty and smelly.

The interior of the main hall was very nice, since it's a café/bar. The hostel's location is very convenient too, as it is surrounded by many shops and restaurants - specifically kebab shops And it's relatively close to the city centre too (30mins by foot or 10mins by bike).
I paid a little extra 5euros for a smaller room with its own bathroom and toilet and I gotta say this hostel was a bang for your buck, even during summer.
Someone stole my coffee at the public kitchen.
I put it in the fridge at midnight and the next day in the morning, at 9am it was gone.

die Lage ist perfekt, das Zimmer liebvoll eingerichtet, die location wundervoll, Frühstück: alles was man braucht.
Im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Hostels mit ähnlicher Zielgruppe wie in Kopenhagen Stockholm etc finde ich den Preis zu hoch. Die Mini -Möbelmesse rechtfertigt den Preis nicht. Ich war im 4.Stock ohne Aufzug und dann musste ich die Bettwäsche auch noch selbst runtertragen. Mit Knie OP nicht komfortabel.
