Euro Youth Hotel

Das Parkhaus nebenan war zum Zeitpunkt meiner Anreise leider bereits voll. Als Autofahrer muss man also ggf. etwas flexibel sein, was das Parken angeht. Dafür kann aber natürlich das Hostel nichts. :)

A person in my room was snoring EXTREMELY loud. :(

It is an old building in Germany, thus there was only the option of stairs to go up to the 5th floor. Also, someone had left a sock and a hair band on the floor and no one of the personnel took it away. The hostel is also situated not in the best region to go around at night.

C’est sale. On ne peut pas le dire autrement. Le ménage n’est pas ou mal fait, particulièrement dans les douches et toilettes communes. Le tableau de nettoyage n’est d’ailleurs qu’à moitié rempli. Les autres occupants des dortoirs se comportent majoritairement assez mal : bruyants, peu respectueux des autres. Au final, pour plus de 40€ la nuit en dortoir, c’est cher pour le service rendu.

Would have been okay but I left my luggage in the luggage room I thought it had been stolen as one of the staff moved it. I was told this was because it was in the middle of the room which it was not when I should have gotten an apology. One of the staff also made my keycard work for the wrong room and then argued with me about it instead of apologising. You also couldn’t pay for washing with your bank card which was an inconvenience. Also had to get someone to help with the washing machine because it wouldn’t work.

La stanza era un po' fredda e il letto in po' scomodo.

Todo estuvo muy bien.

4th floor showers were a bit weird, water kind of sprayed in a wide direction so hard to wash hair, but that's so minor...

when I entered my room, I thought I was in prison. and the bed, but everything is clean! I scratched my skin all night. toilets? damn it! what can I say that it was good tal only the staff sitting at the reception. I know that for 17 euros you can't want everything made of gold, but the bed should be clean and you won't be scratching yourself all night
