Old Kings Hostel

The room was smaller than I expected, and it was difficult to get in and out of the bunks - even the bottom bunk was more than a metre off the floor. Being closer to the ceiling, it feels very warm in bed. We knew in advance that the hostel was in a pedestrian area, but it's quite a walk from the car park to the hostel.

One toilet and two showers for everyone is really subpar. There's no staff except for 2 hours jn the morning, not changing my rating for that but I'd much rather have anyone on site for help.

The walls were very thin and the neighbouring guests were loud. But everything went well after we shortly warned them. The pillows were very thin and uncomfortable.

The staff were not there and it's not easy to seek help. You can only reach them via whatsapp. Did not allow me to store my luggage when I arrived earlier ahead of check-in time. They were also really inflexible when I requested to just leave my luggage in the building behind the locked main door. Asked me to leave my luggage in the train station instead. But I had no cash with me and the lockers there only accept cash. There was only 1 shower for females and the other one is faulty. Shower not comfortable to shower in as it was really small and cramped with nowhere to hang things

Vind het wel jammer dat hun de Füssen kaart niet promoten aan de andere mensen in het hostel. En ik mis soms ook nog gordijntjes voor de bedden, heeft je toch iets meer privacy. Maar dat zijn maar 2 kleine dingen over een best gezellig en leuk hostel.

I wish the staff could at least leave a phone number and an invitation to call whenever we need something. This is not the first time I go somewhere with self-check-in, but usually in the email they provide much more information and a phone number. In this case, there was just the code, the time to check-out and the wifi password (while didn't work). Also, I didn't like that there was no safe place to put the paper of check-in after I filled it in. I left it on the desk but there was nobody to take it immediately. This paper contains a lot of personal information and so, this is risky. I would advice to bring a chest locked up for that for safety to put the paper in. I also didn't like that we couldn't close the door when we go to the shower. As a woman in a mixed hostel, it doesn't make you feel safe.

Solo había una ducha disponible. Sin embargo, considero que este fue un hecho puntual. El lavabo estaba limpio y en buen estado de funcionamiento.

Bedroom on booking wasn't the one we got. It was a normal bed on booking, but in the one we got it had a bunk bed, kinda high, very dangerous and not that easy to go down, Stairs. So if you have horrible knees like me and 2 surgeries in one of it. Don't bother using it. The bed was clearly pissed previously and the person who washed the bed clothes, clearly didn't know how to do it, because the right side of the bed had a huge yellow stain right on the willy parts would stay and the upper clothes of the bed also the same. Super disgusting, so i basically slept on one side of the bed with my boyfriend and used pants and a sweatshirt (the rooms was very cold too) and didn't use those disgusting clothes.

When the shared room with 8 people on bunk beds was full. But this was our choice, so it doesn't count.:)

Leider haben die Betten - nicht wie abgebildet- keine Vorhänge.

Das Bad unten war nicht abschließbar weil das Türblatt durch die Feuchtigkeit aufgeschwemmt war. Das Zimmer war sehr eng und das Fenster konnte man nicht kippen weil der Beschlag kaputt war. Sehr renovierungsbedürftig, das Hostel. Für mich nicht mehr! Danke.

Winziges, modrig riechendes Bad - eine Dusche und eine Toilette (unten gibts noch eine zweite) haben während unseres Aufenthaltes leider nicht immer gereicht o Das Tastenfeldpiepsen bei der Codeeingabe ist relativ laut o Keine Koch-/Kühlmöglichkeiten

One of the two showers was broken, but it wasn't a big problem.

Im Bad gab es einen eigenartigen Geruch und nur eine Dusche war nutzbar. Den einen Abend war es uns nicht möglich zu duschen, da das Bad von 20-23 Uhr in Dauernutzung war.

The shower didn’t have a door that locked. No kitchen but there was hot water and a fridge which is good to keep in mind when grocery shopping.
