Heart Of Gold Hostel

I had a room for almost 100€ per night. To begin with, you need to pay a deposit of 10€ for linen and it is not made. There is no toilet in the room, it is shared in the corridor. If you are lucky, it will be free in the morning. Towels no, no soap, no shampoo. For three days the room was not cleaned even once, the trash was not even taken out. Very noisy, the walls seemed to be made of plywood, you could hear all the students from the dormitory rooms. The bed creaks a lot. Breakfast is for an additional fee. The staff is rude and arrogant. The average rating here is fake. Avoid!

Rien de rédhibitoire, mais: - Il ne faut pas être maniaque de la propreté (mais c'est un peu le concept de l'auberge de jeunesse!) - Le nombre de sanitaires est un peu juste. - pas de rideaux à toutes les baies vitrées du dortoir. - Le petit déjeuner n'avait pas l'air fou (mais personne ne vous oblige à le prendre!)

The beds were quite noisy and the pillow was uncomfortable. The room was quite hot.

El colchón de la cama estaba sucia, los baños se necesitan limpiar cada vez que alguien entre a usarlo.

I bagni purtroppo non erano pulitissimi per via della presenza in quasi ogni bagno della doccia, quindi a terra giustamente si sporcava spesso Tuttavia gestibilissimo

J’ai réservé une nuit dans une chambre seul arrivé sur place on me dit qu’il y a eu un double booking et que ma chambre n’est plus disponible , j’ai du prendre une chambre partagée ac d’autres personnes

Teenagers screaming and laughing, roughhousing in the hallways, slamming doors till midnight. They come in the evening from partying hardy. Could not sleep. Bathrooms were not in the room and the ones across from us were locked 90% of the time. Absolutely no soap or tissues in the room and the toilet down the hall had no toilet paper or hand soap last time I used it. One of the receptionists scolded me repeatedly when I went to get 2 pepsicolas to take to pay at the front desk, thought I was being helpful when there was only one person handling both the bar / fridge and the front desk at the same time and he was checking people in when I needed a drink ASAP having just walked a great distance back to the hostel from being out all day. We had to ask for the towels, which was even more inconvenient as I had to pay upfront for them, and then found they had no bath mat. Had to Had to go back down and ask for another towel. No luggage room, stuff was left out in the open and for an extra deposit was just chained up but the contents left unsecured. Long line for the breakfast, that was included, as all school kids in a large group. Stayed 2 nights and both nights were miserable with the screaming and constant, hours long constant, slamming of doors. No toilet in the room and no guarantee that you would find an unoccupied toilet. You have to put the sheets on yourself and stuff the duvet. You have to pay upfront for the sheets and then strip the bed, bring towels and bedding down to get the deposit back. Had to ask for a glass in the room and were chided to not make a mess having a glass of water. So tiny of a room there was no way to unpack, lucky enough I could open the suitcase. Not shelves or hangers adequate to actually unpack once I managed to get the suitcase open. Dim lighting, like in the middle ages. In other words it was a complete nightmare and the prices paid for this nightmare, hotel rate for a poorly set up hostel, made it more so of a terrorization.

La cocina tenía muy pocas cosas, de hecho a la mañana no había tazas porque las usaban para el desayuno (pago) del lugar. Baños afuera de las habitaciones y pocos, para la cantidad de gente que hay. Algunas habitaciones tienen todo un ventanal que da a un espacio común al aire libre y entra demasiada luz y ruido. La almohada que me tocó estaba toda deformada.

No nos dieron toallas ni sábanas al principio y tuvimos que ir detrás de la recepción para que nos la diera. Mucho ruido por las noches de gente que vuelve de fiesta y se oye todo. El precio es muy alto para lo que realmente es. La ducha dentro del cuarto no tiene intimidad.

The check in process was rushed and often did not provide any details in terms of the facilities available, what you're entitled to and where & how to get help if needed. There was more of an emphasis on the checkout process. Secondly, the cleaning of the tea cups was not good and the fact that water used to mop the floors was drained on the same sink was disgusting.

The location was little bit far from the center but it was a tram which was not to far from hostel-

The key card give me lots of problems.

Pictures shown on booking.com are not accurate to the rooms. Mixed dormitory is actually a mega dorm, the information online is misleading. As well as there not being numbered beds so my partner and I needed up being in different rooms.

Unsere Betten machten bei jedem Drehen laute Geräusche und auch auf dem Flur war es in der Nacht sehr laut. Man hörte Rufe, Gespräche und Gelächter, so dass ich ab etwa 4:30 Uhr nicht mehr gut schlafen konnte. Der Mitarbeiter am Empfang sprach anscheinend kein Wort Deutsch, er wickelte alles ohne zu fragen auf Englisch ab, das fand ich ein bisschen befremdlich.

Staff was stuck up and rude often. Assumed i just knew where everything was. One member proceeded to walk away while i was talking to him.
