Eastern Comfort Hostel Boat

Comfy bed, lovely helpful staff, coffee in the morning, being on a boat was cool. Room was fine, superb location. I would book again for sure.

Wenn man keine großen Ansprüche hat und eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft möchte, dann ist es das richtige. Das Personal war super freundlich. Ich hatte eine Kabine ohne Bad zum Wasser und die Spree floss neben meinem Fenster vorbei. Das Bett war sauber. Die Gemeinschaftsduschen waren etwas heruntergekommen, wie es eben auf einem alten Schiff so ist, aber genauso wie die WCs sauber. Die Lage war für mich perfekt.. kurzer Weg zur Konzert Location.. sollte ich wieder einen Konzertbesuch dort planen, werde ich sicher wieder in diesem Hostel buchen.

L'emplacement dans un quartier animé, tout en étant calme, la vue sur la rivière Spree qui est formidable, le café à volonté de 8h à 11h, le confort de la literie, la propreté des communs, les terrasses pour profiter du beau temps...bref c'est un super endroit pour dormir dans une capitale en ayant l'impression d'être en voyage sur l'eau ! Et la sécurité avec les codes !

Lage

Super verkehrsgünstige Lage, freundliches Personal, Frühstück: Kaffee&Tee gestellt, und man darf sich selbst den Rest mitbringen, war ideal für uns. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Spree, und gar kein Problem mit Lärm, auch nicht an warmen Abenden.

Die Lage ist für einen Konzertbesuch perfekt. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Gute Verkehrsanbindung. Nettes Personal, schneller Check-In.

Quite an accessible location transport-wise (10mins walk to Warschauer st. or Schlesisches Tor U-bahn), wonderful views from the water-side room (including the Oberbaumbrücke), otherwise just in front of The Wall gallery. Convenient access to supermarkets across the street, food stands etc. Living on the water has an extra calming effect within the metropolis. The ship is "vintage" in some sense (I usually like that retro vibe), but it did not feel shabby or dirty. Windows, floor, locks, beds - all good. Rooms were simple, but cozy. Slightly cold-ish some mornings, but easily fixed with an extra blanket. With just one person in a room, there was sufficient space for luggage and stuff (the other beds). It did not feel claustrophobic - although this was mostly my sleeping space. Shading of the French windows perfectly sufficient. The lights adequate but not unpleasantly cold/white. Two electricity sockets. There was no kettle in the room, but the tea/coffee service was covered for free in the mornings on the first ship (with reception desk). Bring your own stuff if you need specialties. Lovely little terrace on the backside of the ship, with quite romantic views. The toilets and bathrooms were basic, like on the boat, but always clean, soap and paper always available, with hot showers (a bit of waiting time) any time of the day. I did not have to queue even once or ask for anything. Looking at the sign posts, the staff welcomes any suggestions. The place was quiet in the nights, with quite reasonable silent hours policy. This was a slightly chilly April, so not much noise was coming from the bank-side, even if there is a popular sitting space and a club in the vicinity. I liked the interactions with the staff, who have already a good routine of explaining the important bits concisely, while still friendly - not just servile. I actually felt welcome. Plus point. The place felt secure enough - keys, plus two pin-code protected outside doors.

All the ladies were polite and helpful. They offered tea and coffee.

En lisant certains commentaires, je n'étais pas rassurée à 100 % , et j'ai eu une très bonne surprise en arrivant. Je voudrais d'abord saluer l'amabilité du personnel, en particulier May. L'emplacement est parfait, à 100 m du East side, et la chambre était très bien avec une super vue sur le spree et le pont. J'ai pris une chambre avec douche et toilette sur le palier, alors en effet, la douche peut ne pas être toujours hyper clean, mais très clairement ce n'est pas la faute du personnel, ça dépendra de comment les gens laissent la douche après leur passage. J'ai également beaucoup apprécié pouvoir boire mon café en regardant cette magnifique vue! Je n'ai pas l'habitude de passer du temps dans mes hôtels, mais là je dois avouer que j'ai pris beaucoup de plaisir, et je buvais souvent mon café à l'hôtel plutôt qu'à l'extérieur. Et puis, dormir sur un bateau hôtel, c'est quand même vachement stylé et insolite !

Nice location and staff members.

Außergewöhnliche und coole Unterkunft im Herzen von Berlin. Perfekt für Reisende die nicht viel Zeit in Berlin verbringen und in kurzer Zeit viel erleben wollen. Das Boot liegt super zwischen zwei Bahnhaltestellen und hat eine gute Anbindung egal wohin. Wir haben die sonst quirlige Gegend auf dem Boot fast gar nicht gehört. Es war total ruhig und entspannt zum schlafen.

Einzigartige Lage. Tolles Flair. Personal und Sauberkeit super. Alles klein und eng aber perfekt wenn man eh nur zum Schlafen auf eine saubere Kabine kommen möchte. Toiletten und Duschen sind gut aufgeteilt

Die Lage ist hervorragend: auf der Spree, in der Nähe des S- und U-Bahnhofs Warschauer Straße, direkt an der East Side Gallery und der Oberbaumbrücke, also mitten im quirligen Ambiente von Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg mit seinen vielfältigen Möglichkeiten für Kultur und gastronomischen Genuss, für mich die beste Adresse für einen kurzweiligen und interessanten Berlin-Aufenthalt! Dazu die gemütliche Athmosphäre des Schiffes mit seinem freundlichen und kompetenten Personal. Gleich haben wir uns Zuhause gefühlt! Der persönliche und herzliche Empfang und die Möglichkeiten, sich auf dem Schiff auch außerhalb des eigenen Zimmers aufzuhalten und nicht zuletzt der bereitstehende leckere Kaffee hat zu diesem Gefühl beigetragen. Es war sehr angenehm, morgens an Deck den Tag zu begrüßen und die herrliche Aussicht auf die Spree und die Oberbaumbrücke war eine gute Einstimmung auf den Tag. Ausliegendes Infomaterial, Bücher über Berlin und das jederzeit ansprechbare Personal ließen keine Frage unbeantwortet.

Emplacement agréable, près du métro. Mais, même par temps froid et en fermant le radiateur la nuit, trop chaud dans la cabine pour 4 personnes.

Die Lage ist toll und der Blick auf die Spree auch. Personal super nett.

Super Lage, Im Hipsten Viertel von Berlin. Alles sehr Zentral. Da es eine Art Hausboot ist dir Stimmung direkt auf dem.Wasser mega beruhigend und einfach nur schön.

Perfectly clean, staff really friendly. Amazing view of the river from your bed.

It's an experience. In a part of Germany with loads of history. Very good location close to loads of great places to visit.

Friendly staff. Exceptional atmosphere with the ship interior and luxurious river view. Very peaceful and clean. Environmentally aware. Couldn't hope for a better location just next to the Berlin Wall East Side Gallery. Fast free WiFi with equal upload speed, too. Arranged evening programme.

The location is perfect, the staff is one of the greatest I've met in sub 4* hotels, this place has a soul! I had a lovely view from my riverside room.
