Lollis Homestay Hostel

I had a brilliant stay at Lollis Homestay. The staff were so friendly and really go above and beyond. The space was clean, the tea and coffee was great (I would also really recommend the breakfast) and the room was lovely. Perfect base for exploring Dresden. The location is brilliant - a short tram from the old town and situated right in the new town with so many options for good food & going out, as well as a lovely park nearby. In the end I stayed an extra day and am glad I did. Thank you!

Clean and comfortable rooms, fun social activities and friendly, helpful staff

This hostel gets all the basics right - beds with privacy curtain, light and charging point, sufficient locker space and decent kitchen. What really makes this hostel stand out is they do a great job of cultivating a social vibe amongst guests - organised (but not too organised) activities each evening and a list of local events in the area each day. Lovely staff and volunteers too! The only drawback would be one of the bathrooms was a bit tired and could do with some attention.

Lollis homestay is located near to public transport. They have their kitchen where is everything what would guest need. Rooms and toailets are clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. They really like their job and do their best to make their guest feel comfortably.

Lovely hostel. Very sweet staff and loved the artsy decoration. The beds have cute privacy curtains.

El personal amabilísimo. Para el precio que tiene está muy bien, pero es un bloque de pisos viejos reconvertido en hostal. Los baños estaban muy precarios, y mi cama chirriaba cuando me movía lo más mínimo.

Honestly a really nice hostel. I didn’t stay long but it feels like a traditional hostel, people are nice and the place is clean and safe. I’d 100% recommend it. If you go to Dresden, stay here. You will be happy you did!! ????

What a great Hostel. Really good service (fast, friendly and efficient). The breakfast is also good. It's at least vegetarian. The bed is in good shape even when it is not new. It's a cozy hostel.

Great stay, the crowd is pretty young and the area has a lot of great bars filled with a younger college audience. Very nice. The room, however, was a decent little walk from the downtown Dresden area

incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, fun room theming, social but not overly so to where it was inconvenience, free breakfast and coffee, plenty of space in cozy common areas. loved my time here!

This is the best hostel I have stayed at! The vibe was amazing, the staff were lovely and very easy and quick to communicate with via email regarding checkin, the walking tour and hiking guides are awesome and we actually extended our stay because we just loved it so much. Would 100% recommend and I hope I have the opportunity to come back ????

Stay at this hostel if you can! It was seriously a highlight of my whole semester abroad so far. The staff and atmosphere are so community oriented and I had a blast at the events they organized. The building itself is beautiful and decorated in such an interesting way and I met like the coolest people ever in just one day. I could not recommend staying here enough!!

The best hostel I have stayed in. The staff were really helpful. The location is in the heart of New town which is a super lively part of Dresden. The general atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and it was easy to meet cool people and find things to do. Thanks to the great volunteers at Lollis Homestay. I’ll be back!

This hostel had everything I needed. Highly recommend the walking tour maps in reception - there’s some great sites on them. Washing service for €8 was convenient too.

I stayed here with my wife and can confidently say that this is an excellent budget option of a hostel. The staff is friendly and accommodating, they can help with every detail of your stay. The location is nice, the neighborhood was mostly quiet when we were there, and public transport is not terribly far. We loved the quirky interior design, and everything was above our expectations. Some doors do not lock but that did not cause us any issues.

Great place to stay, cozy and very friendly. The staff are extremely useful and ready to help you with whatever you need. The atmosphere at the hostel is second to none. I have thoroughly enjoyed ,and I will most definitely come back. Now, it is not just another hostel it is 'the hostel'. Can't wait to come back!!

I haven't stayed in a better hostel! The bed arrangements were a little odd and I'm not sure how I would feel about them if I liked the people in my room less, but everything else, from the staff to my fellow travelers, was fantastic.

Great little 'Old School' hostel. Super friendly staff, nice little kitchen area with free coffee. Located in a really nice part of Dresden Neustadt, loads of bars and food places nearby and a great little park just around the corner. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay in Dresden! The staff were truly exceptional and they helped plan the perfect hiking route through Saxon Switzerland.

location was awesome and this was a superrrr cute hostel! felt unique and homey and not like one of those cookie cutter chain hostels! they could have used more bathrooms/showers :( but it wasn’t full when i was there so no foul no harm

Good location in a touristy/bars and clubs part of town but still quiet. Comfy bed with a curtain. Quite big so felt a bit impersonal

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. Julianna was amazing! Gave me great recommendations for while I was in town as well as future travels! Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, breakfast was nice and all in a great location!!

Really great and welcoming staff. Great location. Is near a bar so bring earplugs. Had two really good nights here. Very sociable hostel.

Everything was great (clean, activities, stay) except for one point. On my arrival I was welcomed by Mariana who had an unfriendly attitude. I need to say this is not something I’m used to experiencing in my travels. Everything else was great.

Reception check-in was great! Very helpful and informative, hostel is overpriced and you have to make your bed upon check-in, curtain in my bed was broken. They organize activities which is great for solo travelers but not much of a vibe other than that. There were 2 Antifa-ACAB stickers in the men's WC, I personally removed them, as hatred towards Civil Servants or Institutions shouldn't be accepted in a place where their should be tolerance and acceptance regardless of someone's profession!

1. No elevator — you have to carry your luggage up to the 3rd floor. 2. The bed height is unreasonable — if you sit up in bed in the morning, you can easily bump your head. 3. No power outlets near the bed — you have to go to the windowsill area to charge your devices. 4. No toilet or bathroom in the room — every time you go out to use the restroom or wash up, you have to take the key with you. 5. Far from the main train station — about a 1-hour walk to Dresden Central Station

Would absolutely recommend!

1 douche/toilet op de etage was echt te weinig. Steeds wachten of alle trappen weer af en op vooaleen andere douche was onhandig. 3e etage ook een hele klim. Een vrouwenkamer geboekt, blijkbaar was dat niet goed doorgekomen. Wel een leuke kamer met aparte bedden. De algemene ruimte was erg klein en chaotisch maar ook wel weer gezellig. Personeel waanzinnig vriendelijk, leuk, aardig, behulpzaam!!!! Lekker gratis avondeten op dinsdag.

I had a very pleasant stay at Lollis Homestay Hostel! I received a super warm welcome & a lot of information on the city and upcoming events when I arrived. I had really nice chats with the friendly guy at the reception (the owner?) and really enjoyed the warmhearted and authentic atmosphere in this Hostel. All in all I felt super safe and supported as a solo travelling woman. The Location is also amazing if you want to explore the vibrant Neustadt with its Cafés, Bars, Restaurants, Art and nightlife. And it’s easy to get to the City Center/Altstadt from there. I wish I could‘ve stayed longer! But I‘ll be back for sure :-) Keep up the good work and thanks a lot for this wonderful experience

we loved this hostel! feels really cozy and home-like. The staff was always welcoming and excited to answer any question we had! 10/10 stay :)
