Lollis Homestay Hostel

This hostel was so fun and a good deal, and it made me wish I spent more time in Dresden. The beds were comfortable, though mine was particularly creaky (the other ones in my room seemed to be fine not sure what was wrong with mine). My bag did not fit in the lockers, but I just put my valuables in there and there was plenty of space for my bag in the room. We had 6 bed female room and there was a balcony and also a table with chairs. There was 1 bathroom (1 toilet 1 sink 1 shower and 1 bath) for three rooms, which somehow was never an issue but I could see it being difficult if a lot of people need to use it at once - there were extra facilities on another floor but that’s not ideal. The hostel common room is so cute and feels lived in, I met a bunch of people going to the hostel activity one night and we hung out again the next day. There is a budget grocery very close to the hostel and it is easily to use their cooking facilities. I wish I could have spent more time here as I am so used to sterile gray hostels trying to be hotels, but this felt comfortable and homey. There are bars and food nearby, but it’s a long walk or a tram/bus ride to get to the main tourist attraction area.

I had an amazing last minute stay here and I couldn’t of been happier! The hostel is in a really funky part of the new town and only a short tram ride to the old town. Loved that they had a hostel activity each day too, and kitchen was fully stocked and really sociable. Slightly noisy at night with next door pub and tram but nothing earplugs couldn’t block out. Facilities were also really clean. 10/10 this was a great stay.

One of the absolute best hostels I've stayed at. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent sightseeing tips and conversation, and the hostel has one of the most social atmospheres I've encountered on my travels. Can only recommend!

Absolutely LOVED lollis homestay! One of the most social and chill hostels I've stayed at, such a good vibe especially on a free dinner night! The organized activities are pretty good every day and the little things (like free hammock hire, the reading nook, the temporary tattoo vending machine and the hot drinks out all day) are so nice. Great location to explore everything, would recommend!

Great hostel for solo travelers. Good central location in neustadt. Cozy atmosphere with everything you need in the shared space, lots of organized events at the hostel to meet other people if you're traveling alone. The staff and volunteers were very nice.
