As for an affordable hostel, my two-night stay at "Lollis" was really remarkable. The main credit for my positive experience goes to friendly and outgoing staff who were always eager to help you out, share some ideas on what to do in Dresden or just have a chat. Moreover, that unusual and creative interior decor along with cozy and friendly atmosphere also made immense contribution to my long-lasting impressions. From purely touristic point of view, the location of "Lollis" is really advantageous, too, since from there you can without much effort get to all the most curious attractions&spots in Neustadt on foot. Concerning more practical aspects of the stay, you just get what you expect from a hostel.

Beautiful design, friendly stuff, good (mainly) vegan breakfast, good location, electric sockets near each bed and in some dorm rooms also curtains around each bed.

The people at the reception were very nice and helpful. The rooms had one outlet per bed just next to the headboard which is not that common. The bed had curtains too. Bathroom was clean and big enough. The location is 25-30 minutes away from the old tow by foot but you can take public transports, plus it is a very cool neighbourhood, with a lot of colors, a big park 30 seconds away. Plus free tea and coffee in the kitchen.

Stylische Zimmer, abseits der 0815 Norm. Gut gelegen im Szene/Partyviertel. Allerdings nichts für Ruhe liebende Reisende. Freundliches hilfsbereites Personal.
