Hostel Mondpalast

Wanted to thank you for the amazing and warm atmosphere! The place felt so homey and welcoming. A special thanks to the staff for being so responsive over email and for happily assisting me, even during my late-night check-in. I truly appreciated it and hope to come back one day!

Beautiful place to be. Mostly very clean and also very central to where the nightlife is going on.

Love the hostel, name, flair, rooms and downstairs area! Fabian was at the desk and he was kind, open and helpful, 5/5 customer service.

Prima Lage in der Neustadt. Nah an der Elbe und viele Kneipen rundherum.

Finally a hostel without a "pink tax"! Stayed in an all-women's dorm that charges exactly the same price as other dorm beds. But that's not the only thing that Mondpalast got right: rooms were clean, nice showers, service super friendly, top location in a great neighborhood, and free all you can drink coffee and tea. My only criticism would be that I found it rather noisy (maybe the downside of the great location in the middle of Neustadt) and the toilets smelled like someone had smoked in there. Just as something to watch out for if that's an issue for you. Apart from that, definitely recommend for a stay in Dresden, and would come back.

Es ist ein freundliches Hostel mit aufmerksamen freundlichen Personal. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Nur ist es etwas hellhörig, was man morgens ab ca6:30 zu spüren bekommt Ich werde wiederkommen

Hatten eine gute Zeit in dem Hostel für unser Wochenende in Dresden.

a cool alternative styled hostel, a bit out of old town but a cool area all the same.

Awesome place to stay. They have a great lounge area, wonderful staff, and it's a very convenient location for exploring the old and new areas of town. The location is also convenient to many great food options.

Nice Hostel with a great bar, helpful staff and free-of-charge coffee. It's located on the other side of the Elba, so not where the old town or the main station is, but for walkers it is walkable and for the others there are trams. Also this district has its own railway station called Dresden Neustadt, which is is significantly closer than the Hauptbahnhof. I can imagine this Hostel being very busy during the summer but currently it was very chill. All in all: tens accross the board! ????

Placido lugar con un ambiente cálido y familiar . Su cercanía a sitios turísticos es muy adecuada al igual que a restaurantes. El bar es agradable. Su personal te recibe con una sonrisa.

Great stay. Very comfortable. Privacy curtains would be nice to have. Really nice to have the bed already made especially when you arrive late when everyone is sleeping and lights are off. Close to a lot of cool bars including the one for the hostel. A short journey from the old town but public transit is close and easy.

I would recommend adding curtains to the bunk beds.

Great place too stay too explore the city, Small kitchen area helpful. Was cold outside and it was lovely and warm when you enter which is very pleasant. Dorm was spacious and heating on a timer is okay. Breakfast is an extra charge but very close to nightlife so easy walk too bars. Would definitely recommend

It was an amazing stay, I was really comfortable and felt safe.

Super friendly and helpful staff, specious dorms, very clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, very good value for money buffet breakfast, and the best vibe.

Great place for an Individual traveller, big shoutout to Dan and Jorge for making me feel very welcome in a city I was very unfamiliar with!!

Schöne, gut gelegene einfache Unterkunft

I stayed here two nights and loved it. It was really easy meeting people, great vibes all around. The common areas were really useful and inviting so people were always hanging out. The second night there was a rap battle and it was PACKED with people. I thought it was pretty cool, but it was difficult to get through the crowd so I could head to bed. So maybe that's not going to be your thing, I would say this hostel offered a lot in the way of social things to do, so that's either for you or it isn't. Highly recommend

I love the common areas, the staff helped my dumna$$ with the 10 EUR bill i lost and cut my lock after i left the keys inside my locker, my dorm-mates were all super nice, everything is very clean, location is in a neat neighborhood with plenty of things to do in every direction. Highly recommend. Disclaimer, they host events in the reception/common area that can be quite loud. I was on floor 2 so it didn't really bother me. There is no elevator, just a spiral staircase with 2 landings ea floor
