Hostel Mondpalast

Best hostel I've stayed in! Staff is extremely kind and helpful. Good dorm with nice people and etiquette. The hostel has nice areas, both indoors and outdoors, to meet and connect with people. It is located in the new part of the city, but the old part and other attractions are within walking distance. Their hostel-walk was very nice too.

A 10/10 hostel. Everything was perfect. The ladies at the reception are very polite and helpful. The amenities in the hostel are well maintained. 4mins walking to the nearest metro, so very convenient. The location is at the heart of the city, very lively and lots of restaurants & cafes nearby. I stored my luggage before check-in which is a big plus. The rooms are clean and locker size is adequate. Definitely will come back.

Very clean!!! Nicest showers I’ve ever seen in a hostel. Beds are clean and soft, no curtains however my room mates were lovely. Cute cafe/bar on ground floor with free coffee for guests! 15/10 would stay here again it was so wonderful!

Finally a hostel without a "pink tax"! Stayed in an all-women's dorm that charges exactly the same price as other dorm beds. But that's not the only thing that Mondpalast got right: rooms were clean, nice showers, service super friendly, top location in a great neighborhood, and free all you can drink coffee and tea. My only criticism would be that I found it rather noisy (maybe the downside of the great location the middle of Neustadt) and the toilets smelled like someone had smoked in there. Just as something to watch out for if that's an issue for you. Apart from that, definitely recommend for a stay in Dresden, and would come back.

Auberge bien située si on veut être dans le centre festif de Dresde. Chambres simples, lits rustiques, salle de bain correct.

Superbe hostel, belle chambre, toilettes et douches communes propres et bien décorées! Restaurant / bar à l’étage donne une belle ambiance. Superbe service, mais cuisine pas très grande et accessible à tous de l’extérieur. Un peu loin de la vieille ville, mais il est situé dans un beau coin de la ville.

Good hostel, easy location, good facilities. Staff weren’t that welcoming when I arrived, I seemed to be an inconvenience. Room was a good size, my bunk mates were odd and always seemed high. The showers were great, the most spacious shower I’ve had in a hostel. Toilets need a mop as smelt of urine constantly. Good kitchen with all you need, I had my food taken from the fridge twice unfortunately even though it was labelled. All of this apart, it was a good hostel.
