Zentrale Lage. In Bahnhofsnähe. Freundliches Personal.
Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig.
Sanitäranlagen wurden augenscheinlich über 2 Tage hinweg nicht gereinigt.
Im Gepäckraum riecht es, als ob in einem der Schließfächer eine tote Katze liegt.

Reasonably well spaced dorm room. Connecting breakfast area and bar. Super friendly staff. Very well located near main station and Cathedral.

Location: A 4-minute walk from the Cathedral and the train station.
Room Amenities: The beds are comfortable, and there are electrical outlets and a small piece of furniture to store your belongings.
Security: Entry to the room requires a card.
Staff: The staff is very welcoming and friendly.
Comfort: The bathroom organization is poor. The shower room lacks a place to put your belongings. In the bathrooms near my room, one toilet doesn’t have a handwash dispenser, and the other lacks a dustbin.
Cleanliness: The rooms are clean, but the bathrooms are not well-maintained after a certain time.

Im Vergleich zu anderen Gästen hatte ich keine schlechten Erfahrungen mit der Sauberkeit. Das Gemeinschaftsbad sah sauber aus. Die Lage ist unschlagbar und man hat einen günstigen Schlafplatz. Das Frühstück für 10 Euro bietet keine große Auswahl, aber etwas Günstigeres findet man in der Gegend kaum (zumindest kein Buffet).
Die Zimmerausstattung war wirklich sehr minimalistisch - in meinem EZ gab es nicht einmal Haken oder andere Möglichkeiten, Kleidung und Handtuch aufzuhängen. Das Hostel ist wirklich sehr hellhörig, was blöd ist, wenn Zwischentüren laut quietschen oder jemand spät in der Nacht noch duscht.

The position is great. The hostel isn't Hilton of course but it is near Hilton.
I can't imagine better hostel for tourists .
It's close to central railway station and also to Cologne cathedral .
nothing.
I was asked deposit 1 euro for key. I didn't have coins and any cash at all . Key was given to me without any deposit. It was funny.

The location for value was absolutely unbeatable. 5 minute walk to the central station and cathedral, minutes walk to the shopping centre and various cafes and stores. The location was by far the most attractive feature of this stay.
The bathroom facilities had a funky smell to them, they were ok for use but just a bad smell. Also being so close to the station, there was a fair amount of noise throughout the night but earplugs were and easy fix for that.

La ubicación.

die günstige Lage am Bahnhof hat halt den Nachteil, das man im Sommer bei offenen Fenstern jede Durchsage am Bahnhof klar und deutlich hört, und natürlich auch alle sonstigen Geräuschkulissen die ein Hauptbahnhof so mitbringt ertragen muss

Die Lage ist sehr zentral am Hbf. Der Check in war flott erledigt und das Personal freundlich. Normale Betten statt hochbett war super
Die Toiletten auf dem Flur waren leider nicht belüftet und nicht besonders sauber. Der Waschraum im dritten Stock war sehr dunkel und in den Duschen ging nur eine Lampe. Leider waren die anderen Gäste nicht sonderlich sauber.
