The staff were very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The female dorm 6 beds room, it was very spacious and tidy. The bathroom was very clean and tidy. The locker was able to fit my backpack and other small items. The bed was clean too. The location was perfect and 2-3 minutes walk from Hauptbahnhof station. Highly recommend Wombat City Hostel to all my friends, family and everyone! ????

Perfect location for passing by guests. Room was comfortable and not fully occupied. Facilities warm and clean. Very good internet. Locked space for private staff - workable. 5 minutes' walk from the Old Town.

Gli spazi comuni sono molto ben curati. Il posto è pulito ed accogliente. La stanza è grande e comoda. La procedura di check in e check out è molto rapida

El hostal es muy limpio y hay muchas áreas comunes agradables para pasar el rato con amigos.
Al llegar te dan un mapa gigante de la ciudad con un pequeño papelito con información sobre tu habitación. Creo que es un desperdicio de papel porque mucha gente hoy en día ya solo usa su celular para moverse por la ciudad. El mapa no se puede regresar, aunque no lo uses va directo a la basura. :(

It’s very close to the train station (a few steps and just right across the entrance of munich central station) and can easily be spotted. The rooms are big and each of them has its own bathroom and big lockers. You also get your own key card which is nice.

La ubicación es excelente estas cerca de cualquier punto del centro,el personal es agradable sobre todo una chica mexicana en recepción muy simpatica,por las noches puedes bajar al bar que está bien para pasar el rato so no te gusta mucho salir.
Los baños son pequeños y se escucha todo, además están en la habitación y son para 6 y algo pequeño,no entiendo por qué tienes que bajar las sábanas,el día que te marchas. no hacen la cama y apenas limpian las habitaciones. Con lo cual te tienes que coordinar entre todos y no dejarlo sucio, y el check-out muy pronto a las 9 y 40 ya querían entrar a limpiar. Y camas algo incómodas es una colchón muy fino

Good value. The private twin rooms are all you need for a short stay
As a youth hostel is gets quite noisy at night in the common areas. I normally prefer to stay in one of the private Twin rooms at the other Wombat’s at Werkviertel which is a bit quieter so good for a short work trip on a budget.

Great bar and atmosphere.and open sitting area
Bunks aren't as nice as enclosed bunks with curtain. The bunk above me had broken slats so worried the person.would end up falling through. Fitted bunks would be better with curtain

Die Lage am Hauptbahnhof ist super und das Hostel ist prima organisiert, alles da, was man so braucht. Schöner Aufenthaltsraum.
Die Gemeinschaftsküche hat von 22 Uhr bis 7.30 Uhr geschlossen. Völlig unnötig.

2min from the main station, friendly staff, nice common areas, possibility to leave the bags before check in and after check out, clean, bathroom inside the room, big lockers working with the card (no need for a lock).

Der Loungebereich
Sehr kleines und hellhöriges Badezimmer, Toilettenhäuschen war sehr unangenehm. Nur eine Toilette für 8 Leute ist auch etwas wenig.
Personal kam nicht wirklich motiviert rüber.

It was great, location is super close to HBF and the kitchen and common areas were perfect
For some reason our room stinked of cheese which meant that we had to keep the window open and the noise from outside is pretty loud even on the fourth floor

Nothing fancy but comfortable for a couple of days and very clean. I recommend asking for the keys of the showers in the second floor. Lobby and sitting room are OK for attending meetings or getting some work done.
Although the location is great because of its proximity to the main station, the street outside does get pretty loud at night. Earplugs are highly recommended.
