Wombats City Hostel

The location is great! About 3 mins from the train station and about 10-20 mins into old town. Cool lounge area and bar spot (though completely packed at all times—- not enough space for the 300+ people that the building can hold)

I choose the hostel because of the location very close to the central train station. It is a cool hostel, very friendly staff, many young guests. My room, a double with a balcony was very nice, but the bathroom was small with no shampoo or shower gel. Quite expensive, but the room was nice and the location is excellent.

Leia was really kind and helpful with answering my questions and helping me with checking in and out. I stayed in an all female dorm and actually made friends with another girl staying there. I liked the convenience of the bathroom in the shared room. It was also clean partly because those in the room took care of it. I liked the communal kitchen area and the shared fridge. I was able to store yoghurt for breakfast!

The location is great. Bar is good for socialising with other travellers, as well as the common area.

everything was way better than i expected i felt welcome, safe and i appreciate the staff's kindness:) i would recommend wombats to everyone and I'm glad i chose this place as my first experience in hostels. it is very clean and the rooms are surprisingly spacious with practical features such as the lockers, a fan, a big table with chairs and so on. i was allowed to leave my luggage in a separate room after check out to pick it up later which was honestly a lifesaver. the location is perfect as it's not even a five minute walk away from the train station yet you don't hear any noises from traffic. i would definitely go again or chose wombat's in one of the other locations. thank u:)

Wir waren eine Mädelstruppe Alter 60, im Sechsbettzimmer, einfach ausgestattet, sauber, es hat alles gepasst, Personal sehr freundlich und die Lage einfach top, 3 Minuten laufen zum Bahnhof, Innenstadt ca. 10 Minuten, das Frühstück war sehr gut, alles was man braucht, Bettwäsche und Handtücher incl. Fazit: würden wieder kommen!

Location to main station. Security and decent bar.

Breakfast was good, the bar was a lot of fun and a great place to meet people, it was very easy to get around and felt like a safe environment, both in the lounge and in the rooms with the lockers. I also liked that there was a lounge as well as the bar for those who wanted to be out of their rooms without having to be in the party area. Kitchen was clean and the fridge space was a god sent as I bought Swiss cheese. There was also a kind gentleman on staff who I enjoyed chatting with during my morning smoke. When I come back to Europe I’ll be looking for Wombat city hostels to stay in again. Even the signs saying what we should/should not be doing were amusing and everything contributed to a relaxed stay.

Liegt direkt am Hauptbahnhof. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und angenehm hell möbliert, die Betten sehr bequem, die Schließfächer im Zimmer kann man mit der Zimmerkarte abschließen, sehr praktisch, wenn man wieder mal das Schloss vergessen hat :) Schöne Lobby, gute Bar und Frühstücksraum.

The hostel is nice, with a cool bar, and conveniently located.

A great location five minutes from the Central Train Station. Clean Hostel, Friendly staff. Easy check in , good Shower in the Dormitory. Well stocked Bar on site. Could not fault the Hostel. Going to book now for Wombats in London.

Young people Cleanliness

As always, easy to check in, friendly staff and close to public transit. I was only there for 1 night, but check out went super easy and I was able to leave my pack in the luggage room for the day while I check out the city.

Ausgezeichnete Lage. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Freundlicher Empfang. Sehr zu empfehlen.
