Wombats City Hostel

Très bon emplacement. Très proche de la gare centrale et à 10 min du centre historique. Plein de commerces, bars et restaurants autour. Le personnel est sympathique et bien accueillant. La propreté est irréprochable. Le dortoir femmes était spacieux. Il y a même une grande table et des bancs. Le système de carte, pour les entrées et les casiers dans la chambre, est très bien. Petit déjeuner à volonté pour 5,90 euros bien copieux et varié. Une cuisine hyper fonctionnelle pour cuisiner soi même et manger sur place. Un salon central pour se poser et faire des rencontres. Possibilité de laisser ses bagages avant le checking et après le checkout.

War gut

Die Lage des Hotels war gut, da es direkt neben dem Hauptbahnhof ist.

I was travelling for work, I'm self employed so cost was important to me and I felt it was really good value and safe. Location was great, right in the centre of Munich next to the Hauptbahnhof and easily walkable distance to Marienplatz etc. Breakfast was really good value with a good choice of bread, toast, fruit, yogurt, meat, cereals, eggs, hot water/tea, coffee, juice etc. The kitchen also had most stuff to make your own food, drinks. There's also a fridge. I was in a 6 bed single sex dorm, the beds were really comfy, great to have a locker and charging point for each bed. The bathroom seemed to be pretty soundproof, and the shower was good. There was a band on in the bar which was great for a solo traveller to sit and listen, but also it became a good talking point to meet other travellers. It was my first time in a shared dorm, and it was a pretty good experience. It was also great to have a place to leave my bag once I'd checked out in the morning so that I didn't have to carry it around with me all day, and easy to collect before heading to the airport due to it's proximity to the central station. Things I learnt - if you plan to arrive late ensure you have a torch so that you can see to make your bed (put the sheet and pillowcase on the bed) as others will be sleeping. If you know you'll be back late have your pjs and toothbrush easy to find so you don't disturb other guests. Earplugs and an eyemask were really useful so that you're not woken when other guests have to leave earlier than you in the morning.

Gute lage

Location is hard to beat for getting to buses and trains. Overall, it was a nice stay, affordable, and decent breakfast. Hang-out areas are nice for working during the day. Friendly staff and people staying there. There's music downstairs in the evenings, but the sound doesn't carry up to the rooms. Good lockers that lock with your key to store your belongings.

Really well-located, nice staff, really cool wintergarden. The room was spacious and practical. Easy check-in and check-out. Really cool place.

La ubicacion es excelente si llegas en camion del lado oeste, te permiten usar las instalaciones hasta que tengas que parte y la habitación en la que estuve tenia baño privado. El desayuno no era caro y estaba completo.
