The Circus Hostel

Si tengo que poner una pega, la falta de ventilación en las habitaciones, que no sea abrir las ventanas porque entra mucho ruido y las almohadas que son un poco incomodas

Cafe da manhã muito simples, camas não muito confortáveis, durante a noite muito barulho por conta da rua, não tem muitos outros espaços dentro do hostel.

Podczas mojego pobytu panowa? upa?, wi?c nie by?o mo?liwo?ci zamkn?? okno (chocia? ono dobrze wycisza), z?e si? wyspa?am. Klimatyzacji nie ma, tylko wiatrak w pokoju. Nie spodoba?o te? to, ?e przy?ni? jest wspólny dla kobiet i m??czyzn, przy tym bardzo ciasny. Woda s?abo ucieka do zlewu, dlatego ogromne ka?u?e przed "kabinami". Tak?e w prysznicu nie by?o myd?a czy ?elu, wyglada na to, ?e trzeba mie? swoje, a nie mia?am. Na pi?tro nie mo?na wej?? na piechot? w celach bezpiecze?stwa go?ci, ale przez to trzeba czeka? na wind?, czasem troch? d?ugo. Nie ma gniazdka przy ?ó?ku, tylko USB wej?cie, ale to nie to samo. Nie ma mini lodówki w pokoju, ale jedzenie mo?na zostawi? w lodowce na recepcji. Ale to mankamenty, ogólnie wszystko si? spodoba?o.

Muchísimo ruido del exterior, las habitación por ser Alemania no suelen tener aire acondicionado entonces dejan la ventana abierta y pasa un tren que es imposible dormir. Lleven tapones de oídos

La chambre donnait sur une place très bruyante notamment à cause du passage du tram mais c'est le prix à payer pour être en centre ville... Très dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de cuisine.

I forgot how loud the road noise was overnight! It was warm too so you realllly want to keep the windows open but that just isn't feasible if you want to sleep. My mattress was also really sunken in the middle (but that happens and will probably be replaced soon). Cleanliness in the showers is hit and miss if you're up early but there is plenty to choose from until you find a clean one. I've stayed here before and it's usually great for short stays just remember to bring earplugs or sleep headphones. :)

les lits confort moyen, tres dure, pas de climatisation, pas de frigo dans les chambres, pas de changement de serviette chaque jour.

No plug points by each bed, instead there's usb ports and they don't work super well. There are PowerPoint elsewhere in the room though.

It was a bit too hot inside , it would be nice if there is some more fan.

I got the room with breakfast. The choices for breakfast were good for a hostel but the drink was limited to one small cup of coffee or juice. So if you wanted to have a bigger cup of coffee or both coffee and juice you had to pay again. The room was very warm in July and because of the street noise, it was annoying to open the window for some fresh air.

La ubicación. Si bien está a metros de la estación de trenes, también pasa justo en esa esquina un tram, el cual pasa toda la noche y hace un ruido desagradable, lo cual hace que uno prácticamente ni duerma.

O calor para dormir afetou-me bastante. Estava muito quente em Berlim e o ventilador não deu conta. Suei a noite toda e isso afetou meu sono. Além disso, o barulho externo à noite é muito alto, algo que não me afetou tanto, mas pode ser uma questão importante. Os "trams" fazem muito barulho e a galera dos bares ao redor também. Senti falta de ducha higiênica nos banheiros, cortinas nas camas e algum ventilador individual como tive em Munique.

El desayuno no está incluido, se puede contratar por un precio extra y está bien, pero solo bien. Me parece que no habia cocina para ser usada por los huespedes. Yo no la necesité pero es raro un hostel sin cocina.

Too few toilets on the amount of beds, not very social (at least compared to other hostels I stayed at), too warm rooms, staff not very friendly, breakfast is not worth it The hostel had a data breach and when emailing me about it they accidentally emailed my name to another visitor and vice versa. They apologized but it’s still not okay. They should be far more protective of visitors personal data. At breakfast you have to choose between juice, coffee or tea. I think they really should be offering both juice and coffee/tea.

The trams that pass nearby are really noisy, making it difficult to sleep at night.

The water in the showers had a weird smell. Was really loud at night being so close to the tram line

In December there were no disadventages during our stay. In the summer, especially when it’s hot and sunny, huge problem is temperature in the room or noise - you can choose ;) There’s no chance to sleep with open windows because noise is really unbearable (mostly trams and cars). Windows are soundproof which is great in winter, but in the summer without air condition the room is like sauna…
