La situation proche de la halle du marché et dans un quartier populaire non loin du Tiergarten.
La possibilité de cuisiner.
La propreté irréprochable.
La possibilité d'aller se baigner au Plötzensee, même si le prix d'accès à la plage (8€) est excessif.
Les horribles bol en plastique de la cuisine. De vraies tasses à thé ne seraient pas du luxe.
Le tri des déchets peu sélectif.
L'ambiance un peu froide.
Le bar peu convivial.
La situation assez loin des transports en commun qui sont encore axés sur l'ancien Berlin-ouest. Il semble qu'une nouvelle ligne de tram va desservir le quartier depuis la gare centrale.
Attention à ma gentrification qui s'annonce.
J'ai trouvé peu pratique la possibilité de garer son vélo en sous-sol.

Het Amstel House biedt wat je mag verwachten van een hostel. Geen extra's, geen luxe, maar wel gewoon netjes en schoon. De kamer was meer dan prima en zonder het gevraagd te hebben een eigen douche op de kamer.
Het ontbijt viel wat tegen. Elke dag precies hetzelfde en geen optie om het bij de kamer inclusief te boeken. Dus elke dag eerst even langs de receptie om het ontbijt te betalen. Dat had ook op kamernummer gekund denk ik.

Cool place with cool staff. The rooms were very good and the facilities were excellent. The atmosphere was good. The location was ok. We stayed with my two boys (9 and 11 years old) who liked it quite a lot. The only minus concerns the breakfast which was very basic (the nearby bakery is much better…). Overall, a very good hostel that we can recommend for a short stay in Berlin!

Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo, la struttura è moderna, si trova vicino a diverse fermate di autobus e tram e il personale è stato gentile e disponibile (parlavano tutti bene inglese). Unici aspetti negativi sono la posizione e la pulizia della stanza (mentre bagni e lenzuola erano pulite).

Lage, Personal, Bar und der Preis waren super!!
Leider waren in den Duschen die Ecken und Wände teils etwas schwarz. Einfach Chlor und Essigreiniger drauf und das wär weg. Mit Badeschlappen und einer schnellen Dusche aber kein Problem.

Die Mitarbeitenden waren super nett, es war sauber und alles hat easy funktioniert! Man hat seine eigene frische Bettwäsche bekommen und hatte die Möglichkeit seinen Schrank im Zimmer abzuschließen. Preis-Leistungstechnisch ist es kaum zu übertreffen, ich werde bei meinen nächsten Berlinaufenthalte wieder kommen!
