Singer109 Hostel

Grundsätzlich sehe ich das Hotel - ich hatte ein Zimmer mit Bad - positiv. Mein Zimmer war groß, einfach eingerichtet und das Bett war genau richtig. Das Bad mit Dusche war ebenfalls gut, nur der starre Duschkopf störte mich, war aber ausreichend. Was stört ist die sofortige Aktivierung eines etwas lauten Lüfters, der mit dem Lichtschalter dann auch ausgeschaltet wird. Geruchstechnisch sollte er noch etwas nachlaufen, was sicher sinnvoll wäre!
Der Empfang war gut, wenn auch die vielen Pfänder etwas verwirren. €5 für den Schlüssel zur Ladestation, €2 für die Zugangskarte - aber alles kommt bei der Abreise wieder zurück.
Der Lift, sehr gemütlich, was das öffnen und schließen der Türen angeht, bringt den Gast zum 2. Stock und mit der Karte öffnet man die Tür zum Zimmer.
Im Zimmer ist das Rauchen und auch der Konsum von Alkohol verboten! Da mögen Erfahrungen dahinter stehen und es störte mich nicht, war aber unerwartet. Der eigentlich gute Fernseher, war verstellt, so daß ein genussvolles Schauen nicht möglich war (vollkommen unsortiert Kanal 4 Arte; 88 3sat; 45 mdr.....). Die Lautstärke war begrenzt!
Das Internet ist ok, wenn auch WhatsUp Gespräche unterbunden ! Werden. Warum auch immer. Diese Punkte (kein TV, kein WhatsUp, der Lift war für Gäste ausgefallen, w/Reinigung) führen zu meinem Ergebnis - leider nur 3 Punkte, eigentlich 4.

I loved the place too much! It was more than I expected, too beautiful and organized, very friendly staff and for only 5 euros you have a delicious and varied buffet breakfast. 10 minutes walk from a station in which the next station is alexanderplatz.

Wir hatten ein tolles Wochenende im Hostel und kommen gerne wieder!

Good hostel for a short stay in Berlin. I like the old factory building and especially the entrance area.

Super Hostel!

This was a school trip and it was a very nice place to stay. The only negative comment we have, is that the windows facing the neighbour building had to be locked at 10 pm.

Alles super. Nur die Zimmer wirken nicht sehr sauber und hygienisch (Teppich u.a. sehr verschmutzt)

The toilets weren't so clean unfortunately, the douche was broken and therefore only one shower was available (anyway I let the staff know). Breakfast was nice and location was fine.

Hostel was solid, very quite. Might not be the place to go if you want to meet people, but it was nice to wind down. Everything felt very secure there. Luggage room was under lock and key which made me feel great. We stayed in two different 5 bed rooms, the first one had a weird shower situation where there was no privacy from the other guests so someone could walk up and see you naked. Second bathroom was great though, very private. Most of the staff was nice and answered any questions we had.

Very nice hostel, a little far from the city center (but closer to the best nightlife spots!)
