Originelles Berliner Hostel. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Manager.

Ich war vor ein paar Jahren schon mal in diesem Hostel. Zwischenzeitlich wurden Zimmer und sanitäre Anlagen renoviert, alles ist in sehr guten Zustand. Das Hostel ist klein mit nur wenigen Gästen, so gab es nie Engpässe in der Küche oder in den Toiletten-/Duschräumen. Die Lage in Berlin Mitte ist genial, viele Haltestellen sind schnell zu erreichen. Absolute Empfehlung!

Great hostel that isn't too far from the city centre and is close to many train stations that can connect you to other parts of Berlin. The beds are comfy, with lockers provided in the rooms. Tim was super helpful when checking in and gives you a little tour of the place if you are lucky to catch him. He also gives you information on places nearby for food/drinks. Showers are hot and bathrooms are clean and tidy. Kitchen is also great with electric hob and pans etc provided Will stay again

Absolutely lovely place to stay! The host who greeted me was wonderful and enthusiastic, and gave great advice on what to check out in the limited time I had in Berlin. Would definitely recommend if you like calm and quiet, and want to get a good sleep while you're travelling.

It was my second time staying in this hostel and I felt just as welcome as the first time!Smalland simple but functioning hostel with a good location. Kind, helpful and welcoming staff.

Re tranquilo! No es un hostel para quienes buscan ya q no hay ni recepción las 24 hs pero si buscas algo para ir a dormir esta genial y tiene cocina. Muy buena ubicación a un rato andando de la puerta.

Eastener Hostel is well located - it’s walking distance to many of Berlin’s most iconic sites (and public transport). There are several supermarkets close by and many local well-priced restaurants and cafes. It is a quiet hostel so not the place if you are looking to party. Finally the manager could not have been more welcoming and helpful, including with suggestions of places to visit in Berlin.

Super clean and cozy hostel. Really enjoyed my stay here and would reccomend for anybody staying for a few days in Berlin. Staff were very friendly and everything needed was provided.

It was very clean, fresh bedding and towel provided. The mattresses were comfortable. Each bed had its own safe box, as well as a locker to keep belongings and a locker to leave belongings outside of check in times at no extra fee. Good to keep in mind: no receptionist who stays at all times. If no one is here when you arrive you need to phone a number on the door. If you are using a data only eSIM this will be a problem. Get a SIM card with phone capabilities. Owner very kind + informative.

I was extremely pleased with this hostel, it has many safety and security measures, and communicates their facilities and the vibe well. The kitchen and bathrooms and living areas were all very clean, and the owner Matt was very helpful. Good location for sightseeing, close to bus station. Clubs are 30 minutes by bus but shouldn’t be an issue as it isn’t a party hostel. I really appreciated my stay here!

La propiedad pequeña y acogedora, muy céntrica, a solo unas cuadras de las paradas de transporte (ubahn). La habitación familiar, grande, estuvo perfectamente limpia a nuestra llegada; iluminada y bien ventilada. Mat muy carismático, ha sido muy paciente explicandonos personalmente como funciona todo el Hostel. Tuvimos un inconveniente el último día y Mat súper generoso nos dio una ayuda gigante, por lo que estamos muy agradecidas por ello!! Excelente todo, lugar y atención! Muchas Gracias Mat!! Lo volverí

Recomiendo muchísimo quedarse en el Eastener. No solo la ubicación es ideal, sino que también es cómodo y está impecable. Es un Hostel chico, no hay muchos cuartos, lo que lo hace que sea mas íntimo, no hay tanto movimiento en el Hostel mismo. Tim, el dueño del lugar es muy amable, y se encuentra a tu predisposición cuando lo necesit. Cuando llegamos, le comentamos que era nuestra primera vez en Berlín y nos regaló un mapa de papel, con explicaciones que nos fue dando mientras conversábamos.

Very calm and quiet hostel which is nice to have in Berlin. Tim is very helpful and friendly and made our stay super easy. The beds are nice and the common areas (kitchen and bathrooms) are very clean and tidy.

My friend and I stayed at the Eastener Hostel for the weekend and it is safe to say we were really glad of our choice. When you get there, Tim greets you and tell you about all of the details. He is also so kind to give you advice and suggestions about Berlin especially if its your first time there! The bathrooms are quite clean and enough, the kitchen has some free coffee etc and also is a great place to meet many other new people. We were able to lock our belongings so safety was not an issue

No muy limpio. Se podía ver el polvo de mucho tiempo debajo de una de las camas y había telarañas en el cuatro. Polvo también arriba de los roperos, es decir, parece que limpian sólo "donde se ve". El horno de microondas en la cocina estaba tan sucio, que decidimos no usarlo. La hervidora tenía residuos calcáreos que se desprendían de vez en cuando. La lavé muchas veces para quitarle todo eso y poder hacer café; fue mi contribución a la limpieza del lugar. ;) En cambio, Tim súper amable, genial.

Solo female traveler. Stayed for one night as passing through. Place was clean, had a good stay. The owner was great, unfortunately i was later than what i anticipated to arrive but you just call the phone provided and he told me the instructions so i self checked in and had no promblem. I would stay here again.

Petite auberge, très pratique et bien situé. Espace commun exigu peu favorable aux rencontres (cuisine). Peu d'intimité dans les chambres (il manquerait des rideaux, notamment pour ne pas être dérangé par la lumière).

nice hostel in a quiet good position very useful kitchen it’s enough clean but at the end of the day the bathrooms are a bit dirty and they remain in these conditions till the next afternoon the owner of the hostel is fantastic and helped us with some useful information at the end is a 8 out of 10

Me ha encantado estar en este Hostel.Nos ha tocado una habitación para 4 muy silenciosa Se agradece descansar bien después de un día sin parar. Nos hemos sentido como en casa.Aunque la cocina es pequeña ,es eso lo que la hace más familiar.El dueño tan amable y además el café lo pone él,lo cual es de agradecer.Gracias por todo y volveremos a la próxima.

Had a great stay! Doesn't feel right in the center of the tourist zone but walking distance to Museum Island and other sites. Also close to multiple public transport options and great local food options! Easy check-in check-out, low price, clean. Perfect for a short stay. Note that if you're looking for a hostel that hosts activities where you'll find people to party with, this probably is not the one. If you need a chill place to stay that's close to everything you want to do, this is it!

Perfect for the price. Great location, a comfy bed, great showers. Simple and did the job we needed. Very friendly and helpful staff too. No complaints.

It is one of the best hostels I have ever been to. The Pictures might be a bit old and not so good looking, but therefore it is perfect in real life. There are some minor issuse like no ac, and the kitchen pans are a bit old, but overral a really nice hostel which give family vibes. PS be aware that the owner is very enthuastic and kind espacially at the check in... So right at the Beginning you feel welcomed

Great location & staff, very clean

Great host who goes above & beyond. He has been hosting for 21 years now!! Gives practical advice about sightseeing & traveling around Berlin. Reliable & safe accommodations & atmosphere. When I was staying all other guests I met happened to also be American & they also were kind housemates to share the hostel with. Exceeded my expectations.

Small hostel, very clean and cozy, with nice, helpful staff and good facilities like a safe. Definitely recommended.

Nice place with a good sleep

Everything a hostel should be, and more! Absolutely perfect location and the friendliest staff I’ve ever met. I had a great stay and I’m sure you will too :)

Location is great. No issues walking around this area. Plenty of food options around. The hostel is small and doesn't have many people. I still met good people here and smaller place helps to know your rooms mates better. Or you can be left alone to do your own thing. The hostel does not host events. The place is super secure and safe. There is a small kitchen, with bench top seating, and very clean. Matt made me feel very welcome and is a true gentleman.

Man who owns the hostel is an angel on earth; he is so kind, helpful, and enthusiastic. As per the facilities, they could use some updates. The beds are quite squeaky and the showers do not drain properly. The bathrooms need to be maintained a bit better. But it was peaceful, quiet, and overall pleasant.

We highly enjoyed our very enthousiast host, he was very friendly and ready to help. The location is amazing, walking distance to many points of interest, public transport and nice restaurants (Go visit Momos Dumplings!!) Room is compact but clean enough, though the fridge could use a good clean. The building is old and so a little bit noisy. Other than that the hostel is a really calm and quite place. No party hostel and no curfews. The lockers are great to make the most of your last day there.

Positivo: Pequeño Hostel en una muy buena ubicación, cercano a la estación central de trenes. Todo bastante limpio. En la cocina hay café gratis. En la zona común hay unos lockers para dejar las valijas en caso que el último día se quiera seguir recorriendo la ciudad. Negativo: los baños son incómodos, se moja todo el piso y no es posible vestirse fácilmente. La habitación tenía olor a humedad. De todas maneras, es una buena opción para hospedarse pocos días en el centro por poco dinero.

Hostel is located near a good neighbourhood. Its pretty clean and got a soothing vibe. Tim is a lovely young man who will tell you all about the city in the intro. Although not social at all, but I wanted some time alone so found perfect peace in it

Great place to get some work done, yet be close enough for sight seeing and getting on public transport. The staff greeted me with a big welcome and was meticulous about explaining everything. The private room was great with a desk and space for my belongings. Would recommend!

Das allerbeste ist die sehr, sehr gute Lage. Der Besitzer / die Mitarbeiter sind extrem freundlich und sympatisch. Kein besonders großer Luxus aber Preis/Leistung ist top! Ziemlich empfehlenswert.
