Very clean rooms. Helpful staff

Un gran lugar para quedarse, el host es una persona muy atenta que te da muchas facilidades si tienes que salir antes. Es hostal tiene una gran ubicación con paradas de metro y camión cerca. Un lugar muy cálido que se siente como en casa. Todo muy tranquilo y sin problema.

nice quiet hostel in a lively area! stayed in the private room so not sure about atmosphere, but worked very well for us and felt safe and friendly!

Perfect for short stays alone or with a friend. The beds are adequate, the rooms are fine, the facilities are good, there even is a kitchen for everyone. But beware: Don't go if you want luxury or if you're overly comfortable. It's a hostel that fulfils your most basic needs. Towels and sheets are included and clean, rooms are clean and the staff is just so nice. This hostel is perfect for backpackers and people who want to save money on their Berlin trip.

Buena ubicación en lo que fue el barrio judío, en una calle tranquila junto amplias avenidas, céntrico y bien comunicado, muy cerca del tranvía. Cómodo para acceder a la isla de los museos. Estuvimos en una habitación pequeña en planta de calle, con cama doble, armario, caja fuerte (sin batería) y lavabo. Había un cierto olor a humedad o falta de ventilación, se puede evitar abriendo la sobreventana. Con cocina compartida. La relación calidad/precio es correcta, Matt muy amable.

I have traveled a lot, but I have never had such a good and restful bed. I slept excellently well at night. Very central hostel, very good transport links and very close to the hostel - tram, metro, bus. If you want, you can walk to all the tourist attractions, Muzeum Island, Gendarmenmarkt, Alexanderplatz, Unter den Linden, Friedrichstraße. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Very nice little hostel with friendly service

Kitchen had everything we needed, no common area but there was a table and sitting space in our private room, which served the purpose. Tim was great, kind and helpful, location was awesome, convenient to Oranienburger Tor U Bahn station and tram stops.

Muy buena opcion de hhohoshosthostal. No es muy grande pero llas hahabitaciones son increíbles y la cocina esta bien. No hay mucho ambiente festivo pero es una gran opción. La ubicacion es increible, el host nos trató genial. No podrpodria recomendarlo mas, volvería.

This is a great hostel to stay at if you want to explore Berlin and be able to get quality sleeps every night. You still have the option to go out partying as there are lots of public transport options nearby to facilitate this. Tim is a lovely person who is more than able to help you out during your stay

Centrally located. The Oranienburger Tor U subway station is a short walk away and you can get to all of the main sites in minutes. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby for food and groceries. The hostel itself is well-maintained (only 5-6 rooms, I believe), and it’s in a very safe area. The staff (Tim) is amazing.

Sehr gute zentrale Lage, ruhig, bequeme Matratzen. Eines der wenigen Hostels in Berlin welches eine Gästeküche hat.

We absolutely loved this little hostel. It was always clean and quiet in the evening. If you prefer to self cater the kitchen was perfect for that, also handy having a French press there to make coffee! Would definitely come back to this hostel and recommend it to friends!

Very helpful staff and a good location. Lockers for bag but bring your own padlock. Lots of restaurants within walking distance if you don’t want to cook your own food.

Excellent hostel - quiet and very well maintained. It is a shame that there isn't a little more room to meet other people staying there.

A unique anti-party hostel perfect for the more introverted traveler like myself. All super clean and extremely welcoming staff. Also eerily quiet, even in the (well equipped) kitchen - maybe some social events would help build more of a community feeling. The quietness is a pro too: I slept like a baby and delighted to find the shared fridge almost empty! Beds had everything you need including a safe and locker and morning check in is nice. Deserves more guests. Support an independent hostel!

Confortable beds with a locker for your stuff (you need to have the padlock tho) and a small password locker for any small valuable item. 3 bathrooms eath with a shower, a kitchen with a fridge, free tea/coffee along with other breakfast item available. Various grocery stores, no more than a 10 minute walk. Close to public transport and no more than 30 min by foot to reach landmarks such as Alexanderplatz, Brandeburg Tor, Museum Island, etc-

basic, but quiet, clean, and fantastic. staff is nice. area (mitte) is, by and large, touristy and annoying but that's difficult to avoid. this hostel gets the job done and isn't gross/uncomfortable like many others tend to be.

Nice hostel, not the best location but close to parcs and supermarkets. Very easy to find and not noisy at night( although the construction right outside weren't fun in the morning).

Nice personnel and clean hostel

I wasn’t expecting it to be that small (only having 6 rooms or something) but the staff is incredibly friendly, the rooms aren’t dirty and the showers are ok. The location is okay.

The place is run by one guy who really works hard to keep this place fantastic, and he does the job. Security is amazing, except for the fact that the rooms are on ground floor so you can’t open the window without feeling like someone can climb through. Shared bathroom was fine since they were cleaned daily. Location is great, close to tram stops which act as primary transport around the city. Rooms have a safe, and are decently spacious. Perfect for a few nights stay. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately our keys were in the wrong lockbox, but we were lucky that somebody in our room was still awake and was able to let us in. If you have a late arrival, I recommend going somewhere with 24 hour employees to ensure the check in process. Facility was clean and the individual safes were nice to have for personal items.

I stayed only one night, so my experience is not the most representative perhaps. Among the things I appreciated the are the location, the comfort of the bed, the good wifi connection, the flexible check-in and -out policy. I also enjoyed meeting the other guests. The other facilities (bathrooms and kitchen) were okay. The only thing that I would single out as "negative" was the fact that my room stank of feet during the night, but I understand this is the fault of the guests and not the hostel.

Eastener is a very nice, quiet hostel! It was really perfect for what we wanted. It looked a little scary when we first arrived. But the process of coming in after hours was well laid out and really ingenious. Once in side, it was very safe. Our room had 4 safes. Each could be programmed with your own code to protect anything valuable. But the best part is the manager!!! He was soooooo incredibly helpful and kind! I really recommend Eastener!

Nettes Personal und saubere Unterkünfte. Es liegt in einer gemütlichen und zentralen Gegend, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß erreichbar.

Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass es keinen Gemeinschaftsraum gibt, da das Hostel recht klein ist. Allerdings diente die Küche als guter Ort, um mit Menschen zu reden.

This was such a great hostel!!! We were close to all the big sites, but food and everything was still affordable. The rooms were clean, organized, and ready early. The best part was the owner. He was so kind, welcoming, responsive, and helpful. As mentioned, he let us into the room early and stored our luggage for us all day. A wonderful experience!

Ambiente super tranquilo y agradable. El anfitrión muy bien predispuesto y amable. La ubicación no es céntrica pero hay transporte público ahí cerca. Tiene cocina completa y eso está bueno. Lo recomiendo!!

Sehr nettes Personal und sehr sauber. Es ist schade, dass es so klein ist (nicht viele Zimmer). Betten sind gut. Müsst ihr wissen.

Great location, kind staff, and easy to find! Private room is quite small but had a bathroom and access to a great kitchen area. Be sure to bring your own body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

Tim is nice but this is more like a airbnb with shared rooms than a hostel

We really enjoyed our stay at Eastener, the bathrooms and kitchen were really clean. There is no common lounge though so not the most social hostel but it was great value for money, quiet and comfortable. We would stay here again absolutely

This hostel is a wonderful quiet place to rest in a fabulous neighborhood. I arrived needing sleep and I got it! The digital access means minimal contact with the manager but he was as accommodating as could be when needed. I had the female dorm to myself for two nights, always a bonus in the ever increasing cost of visiting Berlin.

The accommodation is a very good location, close to supermarkets and the subway, walking you can reach the most touristic area. The owner received us and gave us instructions for everything. He is not always at the hostel, so we had to call us on the phone to come and open and check in. A plus point is that the check-in time is throughout the day. The room was fine but it was too small. They should put plugs near the beds. The only one there was on the desk. The bathroom is very small. If the accommodation is for a short stay, it’s good. If you are going to stay more days, I recommend that you look for something more spacious.
