Facilities were absolutely adequate. Clean enough and fair for the price.
There is no 24/7 reception as they claim. I accidentally got locked out of my room at 3 a.m. and no staff were on location, only a phone number to ring 'in case of emergencies'. I was told I would have to sleep on a sofa in the common room and wait for staff to arrive at 7 a.m. as the person on the telephone was 20 km away.

Babelfish is probably the most happening place to stay in Wuerzburg. The staff is wonderful and they are helpful in every way possible. I booked a double room and this was perfect, quiet and easy to access. There is a common kitchen you can access. It is just in front of the railway station and has a wonderful area where you can sit and meet your friends.
If there was a kettle in room, it could have been better.

Küche zur freien Benutzung, tagesaktuelle Vorschläge für Unternehmungen, Frauenzimmer verfügbar, zentrale Lage und trotzdem Zimmer abseits von der Straße, Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit
Frühstück hätte für den Preis etwas mehr Auswahl haben können.

Clean accomodation and very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast (8h-12h), no single use packaging waste. Metal lockers in the rooms. Lots of useful sightseeing advice (leaflets). Next to railway station, short walk to main attractions.
The 10 person bedroom needs to have a window open for fresh air, but then a lot of noise from the street enters the room. If you wear earplugs it's not a problem and anyways advised because of possible noise from other guests.

Lage war gut, kurzer Weg zum Bahnhof. Personal war sehr freundlich.
Kein TV im Zimmer, Bett musste ich selber über- und abziehen, nur 1 Handtuch fürs duschen, Wäsche waren sehr fleckig.

I was exactly as I expected and looked like the photos. You can borrow a key for a locker in your room for free. I absolutely recommend it in the summer- they have a small seating place outside. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and everything felt clean. The bathroom was also well cleaned and you are allowed use another bathroom a little further away if the bathroom assigned to your room was already blocked. The shower is good and although it was strange at first to press the shower button every 15sec or so, it greatly contributes to saving water! The common area also looked very comfortable. Breakfast for a small fee and cooking area are available, though I didn’t use any of it.
I was a little concerned to wake up my fellow roommates every time I walked in because the door mechanism is a little loud. Also, the bathroom didn’t have any place to put down a change of clothes or more than a toothbrush, even though in a shared doom you’ll want to change in the bathroom. And I recommend being prepared for cleaning staff or a check up person walking into the room after 10am without knocking.

Lage, Nähe zum Hbf und City.
Ruhiges Zimmer nach Innen (Hinterhof).
Frühstücksbuffet gut und relativ preiswert.
Sehr nettes Personal.
Einzelzimmer sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, erinnert eher an Klosterzelle.
Kein TV im Zimmer.
Nur ein einziges Hand- und Badetuch, kein kleines Handtuch für die Füße, wenn man aus der Dusche kommt -> Rutschgefahr!
Zimmer könnte mal Anstrich gebrauchen, Bilder an Wände etc.
Ausblick auf Hinterhof an sich ok, aber tote und zerrupfte Tauben liegen auf über Hof gespanntes Vogelschutznetz -> ekelhaft und unhygienisch!
Heizung funktionierte nicht richtig an einem Abend.
Preis für Einzelzimmer für ein Hostel mit dieser spartanischen Ausstattung zu hoch.
