Babelfish Hostel

EL hostel es agradable. Estuvimos solo una noche y descansamos bien. Está enfrente de la estación y cerca de todos los lugares turísticos. Es una buena opción para quien quiere solamente dormir y seguir su viaje. El ambiente es tranquilo y relajado, el desayuno es variado y hay cocina y heladera para que uno se maneje como en su casa. Las duchas y baños son buenos. Hay ascensor.

El hotel está bien ubicado, pero si bien se ofrece como hotel con parking, el hotel no tiene parking, y el estacionamiento en la calle es pago salvo en la noche. Pero durante el día hay que pagar.
Además el hotel no me pareció muy limpio.
Las camas no son muy cómodas y tiene poca luz en las habitaciones.

Bien sin más. Un poco feo el edificio. La zona común es chula.

Per noi è stata la seconda volta a Wurzburg, e anche questa volta abbiamo deciso di alloggiare al Babelfish , vista l'ottima esperienza avuta nel 2012. L'ostello si è rinnovato negli anni ed è diventato ancor più carino, mantenendo però gli stessi standard di qualità ed economicita' che lo contraddistinguono... Purtroppo però la camera matrimoniale che ci han dato era all'ultimo piano, con varie finestre da cui passava parecchia aria, ed in una giornata con la neve è stato parecchio difficile riscaldarla.... Abbiamo risolto con 2 coperte in più, ma gli spifferi sarebbero da controllare e riparare...

Excellent kitchen and hang out place. It is located across street from the main station. Shower room is little small.

This is a Good hostel. Its location is perfect for visitors coming by train or bus. You van walk from there easily thru the whole downtown. The facilities in the hostel are fine. I would recommend This place.

The location of the hostel is great and the room is quite nice. However the bathroom facilities seems a bit old. Overall it's a pleasant stay.

Great location near train and bus stations. The girl with purple hair should be more concerning about shower failed to shut than me using the wrong bathroom which I was not told beforehand.

Great hostel right next to the train station, location was perfect. The rest of the historic part of town was easily walk-able. Staff was fun and very helpful and there's a decent amount of common space to hang out at. When I was there the other guests weren't the most social bunch but I could see this being a fun social hostel with the right mix of people. They had regular activities planned. The hostel itself was nice and had good facilities. No specific complaints.

Das Hostel bietet das was man von einem Hostel erwartet! Sie haben auch einen Fahrradkeller was für mich der Grund war mich für das Hotel zu entscheiden. Das Frühstück ist Top für 4,90 Euro kann man sich absolut nicht beschweren.

Nicely equipped kitchen, the atmosphere is great in the lobby, wifi works pretty well on the same floor. They even give you really nice custom maps. One downside is the temperature in the room I was(again, 2nd floor). In summer it probably is impossible to breath, the room was way to hot in there for some reason. Same thing goes for the showers. The noise was also a big problem, since windows have to be opened to let the air in. Overall great hostel.

We had a great stay here and would come back in the future. The staff was great and our apartment was amazing!

Reunion-Wochenende mit den Mädels! Da ist man eh nicht viel im Hostel, dachten wir. Doch in die liebevollen handgemalten Schilder, Weltkarten &Co. haben wir uns sofort verliebt und gleich am ersten Abend wurden wir mit XXL Jenga entertaint!:) Die Nacht im 10-Bett-Zimmer war schlaflos - dank einem äteren, extrem schnarchenden Mann mit Hustenanfällen im Minutentakt. Passiert. Ansonsten haben wir nix zu meckern. Babelfish gibt einem das Gefühl gerade in Byron Bay in Australien zu chillen. EIn echtes Backpacker-Hostel: Jung, herzlich und empfehlenswert!

Hostel is just a place to spend the night. Noisy doors will prevent you from sleeping from 8am, as people start to get in and out of the room. Not a social hostel, at least during the days I stayed there. One of the staff members did not let me check in even if it was already 1pm and all the rooms where ready, not much flexibility.

Bestes Hostel seit langem! Der Gemeinschaftsbereich ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet, die Dachterrasse ist der Hammer!

The hostel is nice but I find it weird that they charge a comission for paying with debit card. 5 euros for that breakfast (even as a buffet) seems too much for me.

The room, beds, reception area and bathrooms were nice. However, the showers left a little to be desired. The changing areas were small and had little privacy. Plus you had to keep pushing the shower button to keep the water flowing. Annoying, but manageable. However, I would stay here again because of the location literally across the street from the train station.

I really enjoyed my stay! The decorations are colourful and made me feel very at home. The common room I thought was particulary nice and comfy while the dorms are barely decorated at all.

Staff was super friendly! The deck/terrace outside was great too, loved being able to sit outside. My room was on the side of the street, which made it very noisy since! (Busy street!) Also there were no curtains in front of the windows so it got light around 6am. I did see other rooms had curtains though... The location for those who travel by bus or train is ideal, you just have to cross the street. Parking for those who travel by car, is free in some streets nearby the hostel.
