Five Elements Hostel

do not stay here if you are a solo traveler, especially if you are a woman. it is a very dodgy area, especially at night. the bathrooms i do not think were cleaned while we were there. they smelled like mould. the fire alarm went off while we were there and most of us did not wake up for about 10 minutes as it was in the halls and not the bedroom.

WARNING-THIS PROPERTY IS IN THE HEART OF THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT. I did not realize this just to be greeted by lots of homeless people and drug users all between the train station and the hostel. Not a great feeling when carrying luggage. The hostel itself was pleasant enough though because of the noise outside I never felt that insulated

it is a very nice and cosy hostel the hostel also has a great chill basement with pooltable and sofa's the location is a bit sketchy but nothing to worry about

Good for the value, the location is good because its near the main train station. But at the same time its surrounded but not very agradable people. The equipment of the kitchen was ok, missing some pots and the bathroom were ok, they get wet always but beside that they are really good. The atmosphere its normal, they have events but i couldn't join

the area is dodgy.. I didn't feel safe around but the hostel itself is safe. They take extra money for the bed sheets

The hostel is located in the Red Light of Frankfurt and surrounded by unsafe areas. I tolerated it for the two nights I was in Frankfurt but the block the hostel is on is largely drug users and is outright unsafe to walk on at night. During the night you can hear from the rooms windows open or shut the screaming of drug users outside on the sidewalk having a bad high or who are participating in fights. Separately I saw staff not clean the blanket in the room between guests just refolding it.

Room stank awfully everytime we came in. No idea where that came from. We found two big bugs, which wasn't nice at all. Mold around the windows and the bathroom was surely out of shape. The only good thing, if you consider it good, is the Location in the Bahnhofsviertel. It's very close to the train station. The only advantage.

It was horrible to discuss with the stuff. As they are not customer oriented and try to keep your deposit. The lobby is quite cool designed but as well being and caring about customers is so horrible I wouldn’t recommend.
