Five Elements Hostel

Buen hostel pero la ubicación está cerca de una zona poca segura , afuera del hostel está lleno de yonkies :/ soy de México y nunca me sentí tan insegura. El hostel buen servicio , el problema es la ubicación por la gente que se encuentra al rededor y lo único bueno de la ubicación es que está cerca de la estación de tren

La Moselstraße est une rue peu recommandable : des drogués par dizaines sont affalé sur les trottoirs, il y a un Eros Center juste à côté de l'auberge, des Game Centers et des bars. La nuit, c'est hyper bruyant, des gens qui se disputent, on entend des bouteilles cassées des voitures ou motos qui démarrent en faisant du bruit, j'oubliais : la sirène de la police au moins 3x / nuit. Bref, plus jamais ! Ce fut la pire expérience de ma vie de traverser ce quartier

The hostel is super centrally situated, but also in the worst area of Frankfurt. There is lots of prostitution and drugs right in front of the door. My window was towards the street and it was loud all night (mon to tues) and when I left at 7am lots of people were lurking in the street. Another point I generally dislike is when the hostel is adding extra charges which have not been included in the platform booking. 5elements adds 5€ for the bedlinens and 2€ card deposit.

The hostel was cheap which checked the box we were looking for. The staff was also kind. However, the area surrounding the hostel is concerning (lots of br*thels, dr*g dealers, and homeless individuals) and you can definitely hear people down in the streets all night (screaming, honking, etc.). Of course the hostel is not at fault for the surrounding area but just be cautious. The single room with a private bathroom was clean however, the water does not stay in the shower so there was a squeegee in the bathroom which we learned we had to use to push the water back into the shower as we showered. We also don’t recommend leaving the windows open overnight as the streets are not very clean so even on the fourth floor, you’ll wake up with bugs flying above you. There is also no parking on site so we had to park in a garage 10 minutes away that cost 30 euro.

Excellent hôtel, dégustation de bière gratuite le vendredi soir, café, thé et billard en libre service et gratuit. Le quartier n’est pas le plus sympa de la ville mais l’ambiance et les serveur sont incroyaux, l’auberge compense le quartier.

I had another very relaxing stay in Five Elements Hostel. As always, the staff is super efficient and courteous. My thanks to the entire team, especially appreciate Sam who served us with delicious pancakes yesterday.
