Perfect location: 5 mins walk from train station;
Clean room and bathroom;
Very friendly staff.
Much room for improvement on the tidiness and cleanliness of the kitchen;
Door to the upper floors has to be manually opened by the staff and sometimes you have to wait a bit if staff is engaging;
So much noise from the street even I was staying on the 5th floor.

The hostel is really nice. I liked the living space and the staff is wonderful! I liked the colors of the space, the possibility to get engaged with the other guests, but also spend some time in solitude, working, and reading. The coffee is good, and the beer is great! I saw the playroom and the garden and all that is very cool! The rooms have space to protect your belongings, just make sure you should bring your own locker or you can rent it.
Make sure you have the earplugs! I am not a light sleeper and I had a sleepless night from the noise of the street that was horrendous. It wasn't my first time in Frankfurt, so I must have been really naive to expect a different atmosphere close to the train station, especially in that quarter, and to be honest, it is not nice at all. However, it is out of the hostel's reach to solve it. Still, being close to the train station is convenient as well, so these are pros and cons at the same time. Take care of yourself.

Hostel is great. Staff were great. BUT the street is really rough. Entrance is in the red light district and there are a lot of drug addicts right outside the door. Not the hostels fault but it was pretty sketchy. Maybe that’s just Frankfurt

smack bang in the red light district. as two female travellers we felt unbelievably unsafe, lots of sketchy characters in the streets and the hostel itself was mostly men.

Le quartier est très mal fréquenté mais nous étions prévenus.
Plus embêtant, nous étions deux avec deux réservations séparées dans deux chambres différentes. Nous nous sommes présentés à la réception pour être dans le même chambre en espérant payer moins cher. Le réceptionniste très désagréable nous a fait payer un supplément tout en nous faisant entendre qu'on pourrait récupérer l'argent de la 2eme chambre mais finalement non.
Enfin, le plus grave, la chambre était infestée de punaises de lit.

The hostel warns you it’s a redlight district. But they depict it, in the confirmation email for your booking, as “safe and rather entertaining”. It’s not. It’s the worst district I’ve seen. People take crack and heroine in the street, prostitutes wait for customers. Some people do bad trip. Streets are dirty. To me, the area wasn’t “entertaining”, it was disheartening.
I had bedbugs here but the hostel responded seriously to that, promised to take great hygienic measures and reimbursed me.

The staff are all very friendly, and the breakfast is so worth it! Even though it’s in the red light district, the hostel feels very safe, and the location is convenient. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. I would definitely stay here again!

the staff is really cool, friendly and helpful. the hostel is very cosy, lively and there are some common areas where you can spend some time playing some games and the guitar or chatting with some friends or other mates. there is a kitchen, microwave, stove, oven, refrigerador, kettle, pans, cutlery, cups, glasses, washing machine and dryer. however, it's kind of small, but possible to cook your own good and do your laundry.
apart from this, the hostel is really clean. besides,
it's very close to the hauptbahnhof where you can find several trains and subways lines and there are buses and trams nearby, too.
nowadays, you have to be a bit more careful in the neighborhood because it's crowded.
at night, the streets are a little noisy because there are some night clubs on the same street.

Alles in allem ein guter Aufenthalt. Super Lage, kompetentes & nettes Personal, ausreichende Ausstattung und das alles zu einem super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Gemeinschaftsräume sind sehr ansprechend und die Bar hat 24/7 offen. Für 1 Nacht optimal, für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre es für uns nicht die richtige Unterkunft gewesen.
Leider hat das Badezimmer etwas geschimmelt, weswegen sich ein Teil unserer Gruppe sehr unwohl gefühlt hat. Das Zimmer war etwas heruntergekommen, wenn auch ausreichend ausgestattet. Die Küchenzeile war notdürftig geputzt, da wir jedoch nicht kochen wollten hat das weniger gestört.

L'auberge est vraiment agréable, le personnel est accueillant mais le gros problème, malheureusement, c'est où elle se trouve : j'ai passé ma nuit à entendre des bourrés hurler et des bouteilles en verre éclater par terre. Malgré tout, une fois rentré dans l'auberge, je me sentais en sécurité.

Själva hostel är bra värde för pengarna, däremot ligger det i Frankfurts red light, så man vill inte vara utomhus i närheten, men två gator bort är det redan lugnt och bra.

The hostel as they said is on the red light district. The facilities are nice for the price. The breakfast is also fine you can work around with what they offer. There’s not much guidance from the staff on what to do or where to go, they’ll just point you to the flyers of the wall. They really need a bar tender that knows how to properly pour a beer.

Very convenient to the Hauptbahnhof for local underground, S Bahn, trams as well as DB trains. Shops for Turkish, South Asian, Mediterranean, Arab grocery nearby. Tuesday & Thursday Kaiserstraße good stands. Convenient foreign exchange, phone shops etc
The hostel sends a message after booking informing that u’ll be in the sex work area and offering refund if squeamish. They don’t say that drug users and alcoholics also share these streets. It’s an eye opener, and a German I spoke with said discussion is beginning about following a Portuguese or Barcelona model. This didn’t make me dislike the hostel and I didn’t feel intimidated, but street life adds to noise at night.
In summer heat the drains were a bit smelly. Better air circulation would help.

The staff was nice
Awful neiborhood full of junkies, prostitutes, meth addicts, people peeing on the floor. Toilet was dirty and the room smelled funny even though there were only 2 people with me (that both said the same thing).

It was in the red light district, and arriving at night was a little scary. I knew that when I booked, so it wasn’t unexpected. I felt safe in the hostel as you had to ring a bell to enter the property and a locked door that had to be opened by staff to enter the sleeping area. My friend and I had a concern about someone we were sharing a room with, and the staff were as accommodating as they could be. They also had oat milk with the free coffee in the morning. super nice place!! the very first night i was there they had a free beer tasting which was super fun. they have free board games, tea/coffee, ping-pong tables (i think). rooms were comfortable and bathrooms were nice, always clean.
the location is very dodgy, got catcalled/approached more times than i can count while i was there, even in the daytime. i wouldn’t say it’s dangerous per se, but as a solo female traveller i made a point to leave the hostel with other people as often as i could.

Despite the owner's deepest reassurances, this hostel is still a product of its location. The toilets didn't work sometimes, one day there was no hot water, they play club music in the study area/reception 24/7, the kitchen is tiny and was difficult to find a place for any food preparation. In the bedroom, no privacy curtain and you have to rent a padlock for the locker. Temperature was okay with the windows open, but the courtyard was loud even after I asked staff to take care of it.

The staff is EXCELLENT if I ever go back, it'll be because of them. Super friendly and they accommodate all questions.
The facilities are ok - my floor was sticky (good thing I brought slippers) and the shower is set-up in such a way that the water spills out. And on my last night, I saw a tick on my bed. I killed it with tissue and alcohol before flushing it down the toilet but.. it was still a yikes.
Location: anywhere near the hauptbahnhof feels extremely unsettling.

La zona del bar y restaurant muy buenas, atendia una Chilena muy amigable cuando llegue, y eso sería todo lo bueno.
En la noche empezó a atender el bar alguien que no me dejaba comprar sin efectivo, siendo que me habian dejado toda la tarde, la ubicación es terrorifica, miras por la ventana y ves a 10 personas drogadas, desmayadas, protitutas, desmayados, ambulancias, etc. Sali por la noche con otra persona, vimos peleas, nos ofrecian drogas, vimos hasta alguien sacar un arma, terrible ubicación. Me desperte a las 6 am pq no se aguantaba el calor de la habitación, ventana abierta, y full desastres en la calle. Baños tapados en caca, asquerosos.

El hostel es cerca del Bahnhof y del centro.
El personal es muy amable y buena onda.
Alrededor del hotel no es muy bonito pero por suerte ya lo sabíamos y en la info del Hotel te lo advierten.
El baño no se veia para nada agradable: moho en las paredes y el piso.
Las camas estaban rotas y los colchones ya desgastados.

Most of the staff was really kind with me. Even one night they cooked for free for the guests of the hostel. There is also free coffee, tea and water. The drinks were also really good.
despite the fact that the hostel itself is a nice place the neighbor is so creepy with people fighting outside and crackheads everywhere. This is something i didn't notice when i booked the hostel. They sent me a message via booking offering free cancelation during 4 hours (which is not much time certainly) but i didn't see it.

Kvarteret var skræmmende
