The yellow-haired woman working at the reception was arrogant and not good at dealing with guests

+ : Hostel is Centrally located , efficient reception, good breakfast, good value for money. - : dormitory beds have no curtains, the upper beds frames are too low (you can fall down when sleeping) and are too noisy when moving .

This place was very uncomfortable and made our female companion not want to leave the hostel. I do not recommend staying here. Frankfurt kinda trash.

Suitable for budget travel

Wir waren zu einer Veranstaltung privat von Samstag auf Sonntag in FFM zu Besuch. Wir hatten 3 Kinder dabei im Alter von 3+12. Wir waren mit dem Appartment für die eine Nacht absolut zufrieden. Eigenes Bad, eigene Küchenzeile und kleiner Tisch mit 4 Stühlen ließen eine Selbstversorgung zu. Der Ausblick aus Zimmer 6xx auf die Skyline war grandios. Der Preis von rund 100€ war für uns sicher nicht wenig, es fand sich aber auch, vermutlich wegen der Buchmesse, keine günstigere Alternative. Das Frühstück für 6,50€ sah durchaus okay aus, wobei wir es nicht dazu buchten. Das Hostel und die Mitarbeiter machten einen freundlichen, hippen Eindruck. Sicher gibt es bessere Hostels, aber ich sehe keinen Grund von diesem Hostel abzuraten. AUSSER natürlich der Lage, Bahnhofsviertel/Rotlichtviertel. Was man da so sieht ist schon krass. Wir stiegen mit den Kindern direkt vor dem Hostel aus dem Auto aus und ein, und Nichts anderes würde ich mit Kindern empfehlen! Das Parkhaus war ca 10min entfernt gelegen. Fußläufig würde ich Kindern solche Bilder und daraus mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit entstehende Ängste ersparen!!! Im Hostel und im Appartment fühle man sich aber 100% sicher und wohl. Würde Kinder aber wegen der Lage nicht allein im Hostel umherlaufen lassen. In der 6. Etage war es auch ruhig. Im Aufenthaltsraum mit Bar/ Frühstücksraum lässt es sich schön sitzen, spielen, trinken..., man muss aber zu jeder Tag-u Nachtzeit damit rechnen Zeuge skuriler Szenen auf der Straße zu werden. So sieht man bspw direkt hinter der Scheibe in 50cm Entfernung Menschen pinkeln, Crack konsumieren, zombimäßig drauf sein, etwas crazy. Nicht unmöglich mit Kindern in diesem Hostel zu nächtigen, aber man muss sich der Rahmenbedingungen wirklich im Klaren sein und meiner persönlichen Meinung nach hier und da intervenieren um es kindgerecht zu gestalten.

Overall was a pleasant experience. Free beer tasting on Friday was fantastic and highly recommend. Showers were nice and always clean. The staff were also amazing and wanting to make sure your drink was always full. They made the best out of the bad situation regarding the area and street they were on. There are lots of bad reviews regarding this but they do warn you when you book. Just be street smart as you would in any other downtown city centre.

Het hostel is goed, hele aardige mensen en er hangt een fijne sfeer. Alleen de buurt waar het hostel zit is minder veilig.

Ein tolles Hostel, mit schönen Gemeinschaftsräumen und coolen Menschen. Zentrale Lage, die zwar im Frankfurter Rotlichtviertel ist, aber solang man das weiß und das für einen kein Problem ist, macht das gar nichts. Habe mich nie unsicher gefühlt!

La relación precio-calidad es lo mejor que tiene este hostal, la ubicación es buena, tienes a dos calles la estación de tren, el casco antiguo a 15 min. caminando, lamentablemente se encuentra en la zona roja de Frankfurt (punto para venta de narcóticos y prostitución), se tiene que tener cuidado en la zona aunque no se meten contigo, si eres sensible a ver este tipo de cosas te recomiendo buscar otro lugar.

very good place to stay! bed are really nice and the common spaces as well, the only concerning thing is that as it is placed in the red light district, the first time you arrive here it seems a little scary and dangerous, but they say it's quite safe. Despite that, it has a remarcable ubication 2 blocks away from the train station!. Would repeat my stay here

It doesn’t matter how ok the hostel is. I had never been so scared walking on a street (and I’m from Mexico). I do not recommend it at all, it’s in a sketchy area with drugged, zombie-like people. The few minutes I walked on that area I only saw a woman out of all the people who were there and she was also clearly drugged. I was told not to walk alone, not to walk on the sidewalk and not to walk at night. Who would decide this is a good place to have a hostel? Don’t risk it, it’s not worth it.

I would not recommend this hostel if you’re solo travelling, especially if you’re arriving at night. As stated the hostel is in a dodgy location, it was a very uncomfortable walk to the hostel. the rooms seem clean but smell awful.

A very decent place to stay. There was no bathroom in the room for me, but there were 4 bathrooms and 2 showers on the floor, and I never had to wait for one. Facilities were very sufficient. Comfy beds. As for the location, it is in a sketchy area which made me feel really uncomfortable at times, but as a solo female I felt safe in the hostel. And, there’s tons of stuff within walking distance.

Staff is great and the rooms were pretty standard. The common area and kitchen was really gross though. The location is also really sketchy. Pretty scary to walk around there at night alone even just to go get food.

Estancia corta pero el hostel tiene amenidades para integrar a los huéspedes me gusto todo como lo están haciendo y los chicos muy amables y atentos , solo la ubicación de la calles por donde está el hostel no es muy buena , pero dentro es bastante confortable

As everyone says, area is very seedy. Heavy d*** use on the street outside. If i was a solo female, I would not have felt safe. Facilities were ok. At least it was close to the train station, and not particularly expensive.

Situé pas loin de la gare, on y accède facilement. Chambre cozy, toilettes et salle de bain propres bien que communes à l'étage.

Truth to be told: the worst thing is not the "Red Light District", the most annoying is the crazy amount of drugaddics around the place. The hostel infrastructure is quite good, let be honest, but the location is really terrible besides two blocks away to any direction the scenario is completely back to normal.

Great hostel in a bad are area.

An easy walk from the rail station. The neighbourhood is a bit seedy and dirty. Shared bathroom was fine as 3 for 5 rooms. The kitchen very well equipped.

You Definitely get what you pay for. We arrived late to Frankfurt due to DB delays so we picked something close by. I already knew this was a rough spot to be in, so thankfully they have a video controlled main access. The room was sparse but clean, beds pretty much the same. We stayed in a private 2 bed, but the toilets were still shared. No big worry. All around this was just what we were looking for, a safe, clean, more or less comfortable place to stay for a night until we set off.

Hostel with good vibes. Staff are extremely helpful. Nice social atmosphere. Happy hour is a big bonus! The 3-bed dorm had its own bathroom too. Bed a bit creaky though, difficult for tall people to climb up and make the bed - support would be appreciated here. Location is bad and can generate creepy vibes for the uninitiated. It's safe but not what you want to see when you're checking Frankfurt for the first-time.

I was already prepared to be staying in the Bahnhofsviertel, frankly this is not my problem with the hostel. But the hostel itself was not hygienic at all. The bathrooms are, excuse my language, disgusting. On the door it says it’s being cleaned 3 times a day but I highly doubt this. I’ve read a few reviews about there being bed bugs. Luckily, I did not have any bed bugs in my room. A few pro’s: The view from the room was nice. The staff was kind.

The hostel is really nice... good beds and bathroom. The shower is amazing. But the problem is the location. As far they said in their description, you just realise how bad it is when you are there. We didn't feel safe with people on the streets that looks like are on d**** all the time.

Awesome staff and despite being in a sketch hood ( as already noted by themselves in the write up) the place is very safe and clean. The sketch part is just around the main station, so really kinda’ unavoidable but the walk is a quick 5 minutes and you are there, another 5 minutes and you are pretty much out of it…highly recommended!

This hostel has great vibes. Definitely among the top in Europe. Everyone is super friendly. They play board games in the evening and have a list of food recommendations. I'd admit the location can creep the f out of people who are new to Frankfurt - not the best impression of a German city! Not everyone is enthusiastic to venture out on their own. The room was clean and had its own bathroom, which also well maintained. The bed was creaky though and rather hard for a tall person.

Great hostel! Ignore the bad reviews! It's a very social place, well located and with helpful staff. Beds are very comfortable. Bedrooms have huge lockers (bring your padlock). They offer free coffee/tea all day. Kebab restaurant just around the corner with delicious and affordable food.

The hortel itself and the staff were amazing! Clean rooms and bathrooms, nice common areas and superb staff. The only let down for me was the location, it's very close to the station so it's worth it but it's kind of a sketchy area, but very good overall

My mom really liked the hostel’s kitchen, there’s enough kitchen utensils for one to cook a decent meal, also it helped that we stayed on the 7th floor and have almost the whole floor to ourselves. Some part of the hostel can be cleaner. The room is good with wardrobe, writing desks, 2 twin beds, window view to the marvelous skyline. I am afraid of the location, nothing happens but the people around the red light district made me nervous, otherwise the security of the hostel is good. Receptionists are polit

The most sociable hostel I have been to in a long time, all the staff and other people staying there were really friendly, due to the area being a bit dodgy outside people seem to stay in at the evening and chat. Kitchen is quite small can only really fit 2 people snugly and also contains the washing machines.
