Lollis Homestay Hostel

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are nice and comfortable, with curtains (big plus for me!). The kitchen and common areas are small but super cosy, it really has a family vibe there. There were activities almost every day (even though it was February). There are a lot of suggestions on what to do for all types of activities hanging on the walls and the staff also helps out! The volunteers were absolutely lovely, I made great friends there! Also loved the location, the area is really cool (and lots of bars & clubs there, without it being too noisy). Only downside I would say is the water pressure in the showers. Nonetheless I would definitely come back here.

My stay at Lollis was absolutely fantastic. The volunteers were super helpful and friendly and the rooms very reasonably priced. The flexibility the Hostel offered as a staying place was perfect for my purposes. The communal kitchen has any supply you might need to cook yourself a meal including some essential cooking ingredients like oil that are free to use. The communal kitchen is also a great place to meet fellow travellers all day around, play board games, or check out the book exchange. Additionally, the volunteers prepare a programme every week that visitors can choose to participate in, including things like a free dinner on Sundays, museum visits and Karaoke. By far the best thing about my stay, and why I couldn't possibly rate it any lower than five stars are the people. Everyone I met during my stay including staff and volunteers were absolutely incredible. I had never made so many friends in so little time. I would gladly stay at Lollis again :)

Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were accommodating & friendly. Clean & Cozy Hostel located in a great neighborhood with a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores. Very walkable with Easy access to buses and trams. Wi-Fi is good with curtained beds and lockers in the room.

very nice communication all the reception’s are very kind and they all speak English. with a shared kitchen (refrigerator, food heater, sandwich maker, pots, cups, spoons and forks, etc.) where you can cook and eat whatever you want. I went to the women's room with 6 beds. The bed isn't too bad looking, old but comfortable. It also has a storage compartment. with a shared toilet, bath. And the kind reception’s will give you a free handmade map‘s . It's very cute. A key deposit of 10€ will also be given. Of course, it will be refunded when you leave. If you want, you can have breakfast for a fee. Also, I think they give free dinner on the sunday. you can ask it pls. recommended. unfortunately, i don‘t have a photo.

Loved it. Got a private double room with shared bathroom. Excellent location, lovely host, great decor and vibe. Would return if need acocomodation in Dresden. Only comment - the (free!) map route of the local area is a bit out of date.
