Heart Of Gold Hostel

This is an excellent and affordable hostel with almost all facilities. The rooms are spacious and include lockers. Guests can either bring their own padlock or get one from the reception for a €10 refundable deposit. Bed linen is also provided for a €10 refundable deposit. The location is perfect, surrounded by many restaurants and grocery stores. There is a very nice bar and sitting lounge. The only downside is the unorganized kitchen, which needs some attention. Highly recommended.

The sleeping capsules offered some privacy but weren't completely soundproof. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The common area was cozy. The kitchen lacked basic amenities.

Was very good for everything except the bathroom would flood whenever you took a shower.

Die "private capsules", wie man sie aus andern Häusern kennt/schätzt, entpuppten sich in diesem Hostel als freistehende, in Holzplatten gefasste Doppelstockbetten. In einem Dorm mit über 30 Personen! - In dem zusätzlich auch "normale" Betten standen, es war folglich laut. In den Kapseln war jede Bewegung der Person im oberen Bett hörbar, und die Kapsel war dazu dreckig (fleckige Matraze, fusselige Ritzen...). Das Bad war sauber und es gab warmes Wasser - eine Erleichterung an der Stelle.

Prima hostel. De locatie is goed. Onze kamer was vrij warm, zelfs in februari. Zou het niet aanraden in de zomer hier. Keuken was vrij klein en het was vaak dus ook druk. De bedden kraakten wel maar niet veel last van gehad. Hostel zelf is niet zo gezellig op de kamer dus je moet het echt doen voor de locatie.

I wouldn’t stay here unless you have to. Or are in a private room. The bunks have no curtains or any privacy or light blocking. If people are coming and going all night you won’t get much sleep. You have to make your own bed so people turn the lights on when they check in to the room. The doors and lockers are loud too. I think it would be fine if you were just in town to party and didn’t care about sleeping. But the hostel didnt do anything to create community for partying or getting to know others either.

In de capsules lag je echt lekker allen het leek op de foto’s dat de capsules een andere kamer was dan de mega dorm maar t was allemaal in dezelfde ruimte

Fin lokation. Noget dyr morgenmad. 10€, og kun Vegansk pålæg. Kapslerne, som vi sov i var sjove at prøve.

bis auf eine kleine Sache hat mir nix gefehlt. In der App und beim einchecken wurde nicht kommuniziert, wie mit der benutzten Wäsche zu verfahren ist. Das handhabt auch jedes Hostel anders. Dadurch hätte ich fast meine Bahn verpasst.

L’auberge était très bien située avec de grands dortoirs. Les salles de bain étaient aussi grandes et pratiques mais un peu sales cependant. Le personnel était agréable et serviable. Le gros bémol reste la cuisine qui n’est pas du tout adaptée à une auberge aussi grande car trop petite et en manque d’équipements (seulement 4 plaques de cuissons, très peu d’assiettes ou de couverts).
