Five Elements Hostel

Don't underestimate the location reviews. It is as sketchy as it sounds. Secondly, the showers are seperated by a clear glass pane.. Other than these, the place was great. I would recommend to solo men or with friends, especially for short stays. Otherwise, you begin to risk your comfort

perfect hostel, beds were 8/10. The Location is in the red light district but for me it was not a Problem

Lovely staff here. They are happy to help with anything and try their hardest to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Ithe rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. There is a nice communal area for other travellers to meet and relax. It is a little noisy from the people and clubs around, but if that doesn't bother you too much, it is a perfect place to stay.

It’s a nice hostel and the staff are lovely. The road isn’t great but if you don’t go out too late then you’ll be fine!

the one issue I had with this place qas thw location. Great for being close to Hauptbahnhof, but the surrounding area was a little sketchy. I saw the reviews and thought "how bad could it be", it definitely was a little concerning. As long as you keep your head forwards, senses on alert, and have a direction youre headed in, you'll be fine. Also, walk maybe 200m in any direction and its immediately better. Close to the U-Bahn and trams, very nice.

Great or terrible location, depending on what you want. Near the station, but very dodgy area. Not sure if I would have enjoyed heading to the hostal alone at night, but in the day it's fine

While it's true that this hostel is located in a sketchy area, I wouldn't let that discourage you from staying here. The hostel itself is quite good - clean, with friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. The common areas are easy to socialize in and meet new people. During the day, the area is perfectly fine, but if you're going out at night, just make sure to take an Uber that drops you off right in front of the hostel for added safety.
